We have my in-law's old park passes from 1991. They still have 2 days each on them. Are we able to upgrade these tickets, because they don't include Animal Kingdom and the water parks and about how much would the upgrade cost?

If they fit in the turnstiles they can be used as-is, Animal Kingdom included.

If they don't fit in the turnstiles they can be exchanged at no cost for tickets with equal remaining admission plus Animal Kingdom.

The tickets may not be traded towards newer tickets with water park admissions. You will have to buy new theme park tickets with water park fun or new separate water park tickets.

Using the tickets is not recommended if you are doing a 4 to 10 day vacation; buy new tickts to cover the entire vacation and save the old ones for a future short vacation.

Despite what is printed on the ticket, those 1991 tickets do include AK. But you must have them converted to the current magnetic strip tickets at Guest Relations (no charge for this) before they can be used. You may enter any of the four theme parks with this new ticket.

You used to be able to apply the dollar value of the two unused days towards a new ticket but Disney changed that policy on January 1, 2006. Your only option now is to use up the remainng days from that old ticket.
