Upgrading daily USO tickets to Seasonal Pass

I would like to upgrade a two-day park-to-park pass to a Seasonal Pass during my trip in early April. The USO website addresses this but says to bring your Florida ID to guest services. I do not live in Florida. Is the upgrade option only open to Florida residents or can anyone do an upgrade during their visit? Is there a service fee or is the upgrade dollar for dollar?

Are you looking at either FL resident tickets or FL resident pass? There's a little toggle button to switch on/off for FL residency. If you purchase FL resident tickets you need to show proof of FL residency to use them.

Otherwise, anyone can upgrade tickets to a Seasonal Pass (or another AP). The upgrade is dollar for dollar. You can usually even do this right at the hotel ticket desk, if you're staying onsite, for shorter lines. Otherwise, aim for the guest services inside the park during a slow time - there's no benefit from doing the upgrade first thing in the morning when the guest services lines are longest & park touring is at its best.

Make sure the Seasonal Pass isn't blocked out on your dates.

Regarding CAPSLOCK's comment above - the seasonal pass is blocked out April 7 -26, so your trip has to end on or before April 6 to be able to upgrade.
