Upgrading AP's on monthly payment plan

Does anyone have any experience upgrading annual passes when on a monthly payment plan?

I'd like to upgrade our Deluxe passes to Premium, but it's my understanding you can't just up your monthly payments. You have to pay the entire difference between the two passes on the spot. Does anyone know for sure? I'd call, but you guys give much more consistent information

If they hadn't gotten rid of those blackout date tickets, sighhhhhh.....

They can't modify your monthly payment contract, so you'll have to pay the whole difference that day to upgrade. If it's only 1 day then a 1 day, 1 park ticket would be cheaper than switching to premium. If your pass doesn't already include parking, if you pay to park, bring your receipt, they'll apply it towards the upgrade.
