upgrading ap with only 60 days left on pass??

hi, me and my husband are going on a last minute trip to wdw before our annual passes run out. we were wanting to visit the water parks and disneyquest since this will be our first trip without the kids. i don't know how much disney will let us prorate the difference between the ap and pap. i did the math and it came out to the about $25 for each of us to upgrade. will disney let us get away that cheap??? or is it to good to be true

I don't think they prorate AP to PAP upgrades, even if it is very close to the expiration date.

Yes, they will allow you to upgrade to a PAP but you will not get the AP prorated. THey stopped doing that a couple of years ago. You will pay the entire price difference between the AP and PAP, currently about $125 to do it. Your original AP expiration date will continue to be the expiration date of the PAP.
