"Upgrading" an AP voucher

I bought an AP voucher a year ago at the cast member rate of $363.27. I originally planned to use it for 3 days this week (MouseFest), 1 week in March, and maybe a week in October. As of right now, the March trip will probably not happen, and who knows about October, so I'd hate to not get my money's worth out of the AP. A 10-day non-expiring hopper at the gate is $366.36, so since it is more expensive than my AP, can I exchange my voucher for the 10-day hopper at WDW? I know I could buy a 10-day non-expiring premium ticket through TicketMania for less, but I don't want to shell out any more cash than necessary.

You can use the voucher to help pay for the MYW ticket. Until the voucher is exchanged for an actual ticket, it can be used to purchase any type of ticket - you don't have to use it to get an AP. If the ticket(s) you buy are wroth less than the voucher, you will not get any cash back, though.

Best wishes -

Thanks, Carol! I knew I would pay any difference in price, and just hoped it was allowed.

Don't forget the Disney room discounts, store and restaurant discounts, etc.
I would look very hard at my schedule this coming year to see how I could get my monies worth with different trip times, if possible.

Since I was able to standby for an earlier flight to Orlando, I exchanged the voucher for the AP and went to a park my first evening. I also decided I will still go to WDW for at least a few days in March, and I also plan to get 4-5 days out of the AP right after Thanksgiving...just before it expires. :)
