? Upgrading 5 day PH to 8 day MYW....at resorts??

We are down to just 14 days!!!!
And we are trying to make some final plans......
And just thought of something in regards to upgrading our tickets.....

Can they exchange our unused 5 day hoppers (from 4 years ago) to MYW tickets at the resort?

We arrive at 9:15pm.....scheduled for Magical Express to CSR. So by time we get there and check in it will be around 11pm.
Then we have PS for 8:05 the next morning at MK...Crytal Palace.
Should I plan to get to MK early enough to swap our tickets.....or can they do it at the resort?

Plan on going to the MK early. Resorts can do some basic things with tickets now that they couldn't do before like adding options to the tickets but they still cannot do all the upgrades that Guest Relations can.

A totally unused (pre-2005 vintage) park hopper should be trade-able towards one of any kind of MYW ticket but you might run into a CM who insists that the new ticket have certain attributes.

For non-expiring tickets, do not buy an 8 day, rather get the 10 day or 7 day instead. Over a 7 day pass, the 8'th non-expiring day costs $51 whereas the 9'th and 10'th days cost $4. each.

You are right....if we were to buy the non-expiring ones....

But we are there for 8 days and plan to just trade in for the expiring ones.
I figured to get a 10 day non-expiring and use up 8 days.....those last 2 days saved would not be worth the extra cost of that option.
If we were going for 5 days....I would absolutely get the 10 day non-expiring.
