upgrading 10day hopper wpfm to ap

We currently have ten day park hopper with wpfm addons. We actually will be on property for twelve days and plan on returning within a year so upgrading to an annual pass is an option. Due to having our son's friend with us, we could only afford upgrading to an AP rather than a premium AP. if we upgrade at the beginning of the trip I am assuming we will lose our water park tickets through our wpfm addon. I'm assuming we could upgrade later in the trip after getting out our use of the wpfm addon. Does this sound right? Will the cost of upgrading be the cost of the AP minus the cost of the 10 day ph +wpfm?

I was wondering the same thing. Does the cost of the ticket get deducted from the annual pass cost or do we have to purchase the annual pass that has the Waterparks on it?

If you use the WP and more feature at all during your trip, you are only allowed to upgrade to the Premium AP.

this poster is correct - if you use any of your waterparks and more then you have to upgrade to the Premium AP

there is a separate WP AP that is around $100 just FYI - if you buy the WP AP and the regular one it does work out a bit cheaper (rather than a Premium AP) because then you don't have the "more" options
