Upgrades, Underwear and Upside Down Fun -5/7 King Louie totally ROCKS!

:lmao:Kara, that is funny that she had a german accent. Nicolas was really REALLY into Thomas & Kipper on Sprout, so for about 6 months, he had an English accent going. It was so funny! :rotfl2:"Mummy, can I have some sweeties" with the sing in the voice and everything. :lmao:

You know, I have never been a y'aller. I'm a big you guys - maybe that is from my stay in VA? :confused3 When I do it now, I totally blame it on you Kara!

Off to pack.

Our neighbor boy does the "sweeties" thing perfectly! It always cracks me up. Here's the thing with y'all. It is a beautiful word. Singular. Or plural. Not many words like that. So it is special. In my mind.....

Maybe. I thought yours looked older when I posted, but it WAS 2 years ago, and Nutrisystem can do that to a person.:goodvibes I think it is the same one.

I looked again - different MP. Maybe I should go back to my Doritos.... :rolleyes1 J/K - couldn't resist!

I get what your saying!!! Although it is usually my husband and I running with child in tow yelling don't leave without us, and then of course they do, and then of course the frustration builds and I have tears streaming down my face as the bus/boat/monarail pulls off........Sorry, I got carried away! :goodvibes

Been there, done that. And it's always at the END of the day, when I'm tired, hungry, sweaty, and waaaaaaaay past grumpy! And I swear I always see the bus/boat/monorail driver flash that evil grin and chuckle as he sees me while he's pulling away...... Is it just me?

I see we are all kindred spirits here who want to live in World Showcase, it's my most favorite place in WDW too. It would be wonderful to have a beer in Germany, a Margarita in Mexico & an GM slushie in France every day, if they would just offer a free drinking program :idea:we'd be all set.:rotfl:

That would be our kind of program!

OMG, you are SOOOOOOO hilarious!:lmao: Am I going to laugh as hard in person with you as I do sitting at my computer "with" you???? Probably.

And in the interest of full disclosure, i would just like to say... I ate more than my share of Doritos in the 80's, and the Queen of Hearts is a killer croquet player!;):rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

80's? What 80's? I may have played croquet with the Queen of Hearts, too, but I'm not sure. Not that I'm admitting to anything, cause I hung with Bill Clinton. I didn't inhale. :rolleyes1

Oh, yeah- we're all buyin that- just like we all bought it from HIM...

I really need to get this thing wrapped up cause we're heading back for a long weekend the first of May! And it should be a duzy cause we're meeting up with SIL/BIL and their kids for dinner one night. Yeah, it'll be "good."

Anywho.... we just can't have this TR linger on and overlap the new on, can we??? :confused3 Hopefully I can get this caught up this week - Jeff is heading out of town for a couple of nights so I will have the evenings to myself!

I'm there too. With Debbie living on Main Street USA we'd be quite the bunch

Let's see, where were we.....

Ah, yes, we just began our trek around the world.

We were on a mission, with a gal named Kim. Possible. Kim Possible.

But there is no way to get around WS with Ally without stopping to meet and greet every character along the way. And that's okay with me because at 8 years old, I know the day is coming when she won't want to be bothered with them.... :sad2:

In fact, sometimes we don't even have to see the characters, just the line, and her little hand is grabbing at us to head that way and find out who it is.

So it was as we passed through Morocco this trip. We saw the photopass photographer set up by the water, and new that Jasmine should be there. So Ally marched right up and asked when she would be back. Per the CM, she would be back in about 5 minutes and Genie might be with her. Oh, now I'm excited cause we've never met Genie before!

Jeff is doing the eye roll and pointing at his watch. Or actually, pointing at that bare patch of skin on his wrist, the place where his THREE lost watches used to be. Yes, he has lost 3 watches since I have known him, so he's banned from them now.

So as he's pointing to his wrist, I look at Ally, begging us to wait for Jasmine, and I look at Jeff, who's still pointing to his bare wrist, and looking quite ridiculous if I do say so myself. And that is something I say quite frequently, so don't be alarmed.

He's antsy to go on our Mission Possible. Queue the music.... da da daaaaaa.....

But first..... Ally won! We waited for Jasmine, and sadly, no Genie.

Epcot-WS-Morocco-Jas1.jpg

Now I was quite surprised that Jeff was not hovering with the camera while Ally was meeting Jasmine. After all, she IS his favorite princess. She has two things that he likes in princesses.... :rolleyes1

Anywho...... here's more of Jasmine and her two..... pointy toed shoes! What? What were YOU thinking of! Filth, such filth!!!

Epcot-WS-Morocco-Jas2.jpg

So after Ally cozied up with Jas - she lets me call her that cause we go way back - we hurried through WS to get to Germany. We had an appointment with Possible. Kim Possible. To catch some bad guys.

As we rushed past Italy, I really wanted to try a bellini. Tried it. Didn't like it. Let's move on.

OK, so I didn't get any photos of the Kim Possible station where we picked up our Kimmunicator. Now for those of you who don't know the show, a little edumacation.

Kim Possible is high school cheerleader who, along with her best friend Ron Stoppable, fights crime at night. Seriously, y'all are a lot safer for having KP - she lets me call her that cause we go way back - on the task. Some of her foes include Dr Drakken, Shego, Monkey Fist, Duff Killigan, and Professor Dementor.

She and Ron are assisted in their crime fighting by Wade, otherwise known as Boy Genius. But I can call him Wade, cause we go way back. Who knew that we were at risk of having these evil villains take over the world almost on a daily basis???

But here we are, reporting for duty. We WILL help KP save the world!

So we get our Kimmunicator, which is basically an operational cell phone, that communicates with Wade. He gives us our mission, and clues along the way.

Now, I don't want to ruin the surprise, cause in my book, the KP Adventure is one of the most ingenius things Disney has come up with in a LONG time!!!

However, I'll give you a sample. Each mission is completed in a different country of WS. Ours began in Germany. So as Jeff waited in line for a couple of German brews.... :rolleyes1 Ally and I listened to the first clue. We followed the prompts on the kimmunicator, and Wade told us what to look for around the German buildings. We found it, and pressed the button to get Wade back. He then sent us into a building that we had to identify, based on his clues. Once in said building, we did a few more tricks with our Kimmunicator, and made some crazy things happen to items in the shop.

Can I just say, SO MUCH FUN!!!!! So much so, that we ended up completing a total of 4 missions!!!!

Here is Ally with her Kimmunicator in Mexico...

Epcot-WS-KimPossibleMexico.jpg

And here she is saving the world by way of Japan.

Epcot-WS-KimPossibleJapan1.jpg

See anything different in this pic than in the one with Ally? Yeah, we did that, enroute to saving the world!!!!

Epcot-WS-Japan1.jpg

So it is very subtle if you are not playing the game and won't interfere with anyone just touring the countries. But it is so stinkin obvious if you ARE playing!!! And seriously, you really don't need to know anything about Possible. Kim Possible. You can enjoy it no matter how old, just to see what Disney has concocted.

Cool. Way cool!

Now I have a feeling that in the busier times, the CMs may be stricter about the times for beginning your mission. And they will probably limit or even not offer additional missions after you complete your fist one. Because I don't think that they can add additional Kimmunicators - even during a slow time like when we were there, we still ran into a lot of others playing the game, and that can ruin the "surprise" that you are about to find, if you see a group in front of you activating the magic.

Another minus to playing 4 separate missions. We started in Germany. Then went to Japan. Then went to Mexico. Then went to China.

You do the math. In mileage. It wasn't until AFTER we finished playing that we decided to just relax and enjoy World Showcase.

So we made our way BACK to Mexico where we could start our WS trek yet again. We ran into this guy.....

Epcot-WS-Mexico2.jpg

And these guys, who were seriously almost in danger of blocking my entrance to the margarita stand!!!! There are some in Disney that are worthy of a good smack - irkers, and those that stand between me and a margarita in Mexico!

Epcot-WS-Mexico1.jpg

They were lucky.... THIS time. But consider yourselve warned, mariachi men! Step away from the margarita line!

Next stop Norway! And what a perfect place for an afternoon snack.....

School bread - it has DEFINITELY gotten smaller!

Epcot-Food-NorwaySchoolBread.jpg

And for the first time, we tried a sweet pretzel - both are super sweet, but I must admit, my money is on the sweet pretzel from now on. Loved it!

Epcot-Food-NorwayAlmondPretzel.jpg

It was really nice to relax for awhile after our mission with Possible. Kim Possible. Saving the world is EXHAUSTING!!!! Who knew?

We just walked through China and picked up some frozen sweet drink for Ally. So now she is all sugared up and ready to make her way the rest of the way around World Showcase.

Epcot-WS-China1.jpg

But first..... it had been years since seeing a movie in World Showcase. We decided to check one out on each visit now, mainly becaue Ally has not seen them, and heck, maybe we can edumacate her a bit, eh?

Reflections of China it is!

This movie is great when the crowds are minimal, as are most 360 movies. Otherwise, you're just looking at the back of someone's head and that's not much fun. But I did see some heads that would have given me some reflection. But then it might have been Reflections of Bob instead of Reflections of China, soooo.......... :rolleyes1

We spent some time before the movie in China...

Epcot-WS-China2.jpg

I think this is so appropriate to those of us with children..... :rolleyes1

Epcot-WS-China4.jpg

And finally, Ally with her Kimmunicator from earlier - since it's a cell phone, she wants to have it to her ear. This child begs daily for her own phone. Uh, uh! Ain't happening!

Epcot-WS-ChinaAllyJeff1.jpg

We passed by Germany - I feel I know the germans a little too intimately after our mission there. On to Italy!

Speaking of intimate! <gasp!>

Epcot-WS-Italy2.jpg

Thank you for taking us to Disney World, Daddy!

Epcot-WS-Italy3.jpg

The topiaries were out getting ready for Flower and Garden Festival....

Is it just me or does Tramp have "that" look in his eyes????

Epcot-WS-Italy7.jpg

We decided to pass on the American Adventure this trip. Love it! But we had already "tortured" Ally with Reflections of China. Couldn't do it to her again.

But we were able to catch the end of the fife and drum corp. Love it every time! It actually "forces" you to stop and rest for a moment and reflect on our history, if only for a moment.

Epcot-WS-USA-Fife1.jpg

And one more of Ally posing for her own refection.....

Epcot-WS-View1.jpg

Up next, a very Beachy dinner....

Hey! Leave Jeff and his stolen (so called LOST) watches alone!! Some of us are targets for timex theives wherever we go!! (Personally, I think the same people have a fetish for socks out of the dryer, too, but they never take a pair...just one at a time.....).;)

I can not wait until we can do KP mission! I actually like that show:rolleyes1.

Just love your writing style!

Another great update with funny musings and good pics. The one of the 3 of you is great!

Somehow I missed about 5 updates. I saw your cake (fantastic) when you posted that, but had missed your Sci-Fi dining. I feel the same way. Atmosphere is great, but the food I could pass on.

I wish Jacob liked to have his picture taken with characters. :sad2:

Your story of the old people running to the boat was so sad. I would have felt bad leaving them behind also.

And I love the pic of Ally with her eyes covered there in Italy. Too cute!!!

:offtopic:
I just had to tell you. I know you haven't mentioned critters too much in this TR. When we walk through the neighborhood in the morning we have to be careful of all the little lizards crossing our path. Well today, the poor lizards had to be careful. My neighbor looks down and sees a black snake sticking out of the bush and then we both realize he had a lizard in his mouth. Poor lizard. My neighbor refused to walk close to the bushes after that. Just love the nature here in Florida.

Oh, thanks for waiting for me to get back before your update!:rotfl2: I love your pics - thanks for sharing the Kim. Possible. adventure with us. I think Tramp looks like he's trying to see down your shirt!:rolleyes1

Nope, he's just irresponsible. :rolleyes1 I found two in his golf bag, deader than dead. Lucky for him his cell phone is always clipped to his hip, so that is his watch.

Thanx! That was during my brunette phase - but I'm back to blonde now so the updates should get a little ditzier! :rotfl:

OMG! :scared1: First of all, I hate the snakes - HATE THEM!!! But Jeff is just downright terrified. We were driving, in the car, the other day, and there was a snake on the road - he about drove into someone's front yard to get away from it! I saw one once when we were on the golf cart and I thought the stupid snake was gonna catch up to us, stupid 15 mph golf cart!

But did I tell you that I've caught Bucky with a lizard in his mouth? He looks like that T-Rex on Dinosaur with the smaller dino in it's mouth. Too funny! Well, unless you're the lizard that is.... :rolleyes1

Well of course I'd wait for you! Can't have a TR update without Tammie! And I KNEW there was something trampy about him! What a dog!

We did KP and loved it as well! :thumbsup2 I need to do it again since we only were in Germany, Japan and UK. DH had enough by then. ;)
