upgradeing to non expiry tickets

we have got 7 day tickets with 6 plus days.We can upgrade i know but how long is it before we have to do this.
we are thinking of getting them now as there on on offer from a uk firm and using and upgradeing next year.
I know they expire 14 days from first use if not upgraded.Can someone elce take them in using there own tickets and upgrade for us without loosing a day on our tickets

You may be able to order the tickets with non-expiration.

There is a Guest Relations window outside the turnstiles where you can add non-expiration without using up a day.

You can hold off the upgrading until you get there.

I am considering adding days and non expy to my 6 day hopper due to possible future short weekend trips (while on business, gotta sneak a day into WDW!)....

I know I can add it on there at Guest relations if I want to, once I arrive in a few weeks. I am guessing I can add that option up until the ticket expires (14 days after first use?)

but, yes, you can do it on site, during your trip if you want.

could i do it in say 12 months time,is there no expiry on them untill you use them then its 14 days
