Upgraded to AP's today!!!

DH and I are at WDW this week and as of about a few hours ago, we are officially AP holders!!! It was a very easy upgrade and it feels so good!!!!

Wondering what kind of tickets you upgraded? Were they part of a package? I'm hoping to upgrade the 1 day base tickets I have as part of my package to APs on my first night. Hope it's easy for us, too!

We had MYW park hoppers in our package and simply went to guest relations at MGM Studios. EASY!

How does that work. We are going to diseny Jan 1-8th and we are thinking of buying AP but we would also like to have the dinning package on our stay. Are you saying we can get 8 day tickets and pay the differece for AP's?

I upgraded to an AP in September. I had a 1 day base ticket with free dining and went to ugrade it to an AP, I was told I had to wait until I used the dining credits or I would lose them because it ws a package. I don't know if it was because the dining was free or if it is all dining. So I upgraded to a 6 day, then on the last day after I used all the credits I upgraded at AK in about 4 minutes. I only had used 5 of the days so I still had one day left when I did it, I wasn't sure if I could upgrade after using all the days.

It gave me the illusion that the AP was cheaper this way also
