Upgrade WDW tickets to Premier Passport at DL?

Has anyone used WDW tickets to purchase a premier passport at DL? I bought the tickets a couple of weeks ago for our January trip to WDW, intending to upgrade the tickets there, but realized I'd like to get the Premier Passport sooner to use at DL.

We did this a few years ago. Just be sure you realize that upgrading to the premier passport doesn't extend the life of your AP. It will still expire on the original date. Depending on when you are going to DL, and when you might go back, it may be beneficial to just buy a separate DL AP.

Our passes expire 8/18, we will do the early renewal to get the discount or, if they won't do that, just buy new premier passports.
