Upgrade Undercover Tourist Ticket

I purchased a 7 day park hopper ticket for a trip in may at Undercover Tourist. How do I go about upgrading this to an annual pass? Where should I do this? Hotel? Park? Does it matter if I use the pass to get into a park the day I want to upgrade? Thanks.
