I am traveling Feb 21-25. I usually go twice a year, but never been an annual passholder. I intend to book a bounceback, or return in June to celebrate my mom's 60th! I am booked for Stay, Play, and Dine in Feb.

Do I have an option to upgrade our passes to annual passholder? Does this strategy make sense given that I'm booking 2 trips at least?

Thanks!

To upgrade what passes?

Me, I found that for Mom and I, annual passes saved a ton of money.

To start with, there's the tickets. Tickets from "room+ticket" packages typically run around $100/person/day, whereas a Florida Resident Annual Pass was like $400. Stay 4 days, and you've got your $400 back. (Although, Disney also offers Florida Resident tickets that are quite a bit less than $100/day.)

And then there's the fact that annual passholders often qualify for booking hotel rooms at 35% off. (Although Florida residents who aren't passholders can often get the same discount.)

Not really a theme park question-
I'm questioning the 1) ability, and 2) value of ugrading my tickets that are part of my "Stay, Play, and Dine" package to Annual Passholder (I am not a Florida resident). Has anyone done this and does it affect your existing package discount?

I have not done upgrade of play stay dine ticket but any package should have same idea. yes I took tickets from package I had booked thru Disney and upgraded to ap. Use ticket at least once before doing upgrade and this should give you full credit of tix at that days price towards AP
