Upgrade to AKL concierge?

Here is a question for the experts - I tried pulling this up on the disney site, but have been unable to find it. I booked a FTP for 9/19-26 at AKL savannah view for about $2200. I was trying to figure out what the charge would be to upgrade to concierge? Do you think it is worth it? I was planning on renting a fridge ($10/day) and grocery shopping (probably $100-150 in food) - so that would factor in. We eat a ligh breakfast usually, and do drink a fair chare of juice, sode, wine in the evening. How about some opinions? ANyone going to AKL Concierge in Sept?

It sounds like you might be an excellent candidate for AKL concierge! Yes, it will probably cost a little more, but the added amenities would make it worth it.

The price difference will depend on which type of savannah you booked. If you booked a regular savannah view, the price to upgrade will be approx $670. If you booked a deluxe savannah view, the price to upgrade will be approx $380. This is based on the difference in rack rates for those room categories for 4 nights, which is what the FT package will do.

We did AKL concierge in Feb. I now can't imagine staying any place else. I have to have that coffee machine

Hubby did not go with us last year (he can only do Disney every few years) After hearing us talk about it (constantly) he said "lets do AKL concierge in Feb again." I did not want to tell him I had already decided the "girls" were going but we are thrilled he won't miss it again.

I would absolutely do concierge. It was well worth it for us. We did not do a breakfast out once we got there. Also the dessert and cordials at the end of the day were such a nice relaxing treat.

That coffee machine is the best. I want one for home!! Push the button and I had my decaff Latte. Boy did I get hooked on that.
