upgrade sph?

Has anyone ever been upgraded from a sph room? I'll be quite happy there even if I am not upgraded I was just courious.

Well i guess thats a no if 88 have looked at this thread and none has replyed. Oh well, i'll still be on cloud nine. I dont care if I have to sleep in the staffs quarters.

Wish I could give you an answer on this. We're also in 2 SPH rooms this November. If I get upgraded that'll be fantasitc, but if I don't, I'll be totally cool with that. We requested "connecting" rooms, so I highly doubt we'll be upgraded and that's fine. Just hope I can adjust to having no verandah this time

Ok To anwser your Question..

We had a secret porthole room booked ,
For the May 11, 2002 Inaugural Western Cruise...

We upgraded at the Port this was not a free upgrade we paid for it.....and the secret porthole room was empty for the Cruise...

Me Being a nice guy was looking for others in Cat 10 to tell them this room ws avaliable for the cruise but u know how people can be Weary and excited just to be all checked in and going on there cruise could not find some one in a cat 10 room...

figured someone else in cat 10 could switch to this room
But unless u r informed people probably thought i was Crazy....

We have never gotten an upgrade. We were in 5520 (one of the SPRs) in September and enjoyed it very much---no upgrade.

What a nice person you were to try to give away your sph room. Do you remember what cat. you upgraded yourself to and how much it cost? Im hoping to save extra money to try and pay for an upgrade when we get to port. If not I will still be VERY happy!
