Upgrade question

I bought 4 of the 2 park power passes for our upcoming trip in 2 weeks(yippee!). Can I upgrade to the regular annual tickets? How much will it cost? I also have two newphews (11 and 14) to take with us. Should I get the 5 day consecutive passes or buy the 2 day 2 park passes? I know we used express pass several times when we went 2 years ago. I believe we had 2 day 2 park tickets. Are we still eligible for express/fotl? thanks

I also bought 4 power passes on my trip to Universal last month. The next day I upgraded one of the power passes to the preferred pass so that we could get the discounts. It cost me $63.90 and it didn't take very long at all.

As for express passes, you can still get express through the machines or buy express passes, just like any other ticket holder. However, I think you can only get FOTL if you stay at one of the 3 universal resorts.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I've gone loopy with thinking about all the possibilities....

Having Preferred APs or Power APs has no bearing on whether or not you get FOTL. FOTL is granted in three ways.

1. Be an onsite guest.
2. buy an express pass booklet
3. use the free express pass machines (tickets are limited) - all park guests may get tickets from the machines.

having APs of any kind does not give you FOTL on that basis alone.
