Upgrade Or Add Days?

So I have found that we will have some extra funds for our trip thanks to my thrifty budgeting! Should we upgrade to CL or add 2 more nights? We currently have 7 nights booked. If we added 2 more we could spend a day at Seaworld or US.

For me it would depend on alot of things.

1. when are you going?
if it is a busy time of year, 7 nights isn't a huge amount of time. Is it during free dining?

2. will you have a car?
if not, you'll have to figure in transportation cost.

Personally, I would take the extra 2 days and add the days to my ticket. if you are getting a ticket that expires extra days are only about $1-$2 more per person.

Whatever you decide, hope you have a great trip!

We are going at the end of October (the 23rd-30th). We won't have a car, so I was figuring $100 for the taxi and $150 for the tickets to whichever park. We have APs so adding days isn't a problem either.

For our trip at the end of the month, we added nights at a POFQ instead of staying at AKL. We have stayed at both these resorts in the past so based on our past experiences, based on our budget, our need to get out of town and our son's age we decided to extend our vacation this time. It just depends on you and your family's personal vacation style. You really can't make a wrong decision.

Add days. You can never spend too much time at Disney.

I vote for more days but if you have never done CL before and are not sure if you can swing it again I may lean towards that.

Well, I personally would add days, but I wouldn't add days to leave WDW, so if the option is only adding days to spend elsewhere, I would rather upgrade to concierge!

I would only add days if I were going to spend them at disney world -- otherwise I would upgrade for sure!

I just had a similar dilemma. We were booked at POP for 4 nights, then I sold my old gold (thanks DIS!), and I had the option of upgrading to CSR or staying an extra night. We chose extra night! I am still kicking around upgrading, but I know we'll have a blast at POP. I'm trying to be good.

I would add 2 days....especially if it's at the Poly We stayed there for the first time in Sept. and fell in love with the resort We've stayed concierge level (at the WL, not Poly), and although it was a nice experience, if I had the choice to add 2 nights at the Poly or stay concierge, I'd definitely add the 2 nights

You may want to consider instead of paying that kind of $ for a taxi renting a car from Alamo at the Dolphin location for a day or two. I've rented a car there before for a day for as little as $27 for a day or $55 for 2 days including taxes. You would have to pay for Parking at U.S., but would have the car if you wanted to make any stops at stores, etc.

Are you on the Dining Plan? If yes then I would add nights. If the answer is no, I might consider upgrading to CL.
