We booked the Early 2025 Discount rate at Pop average $215/night. I have an upgrade offer - Coronado Springs for $232/night. I assume because they are doing room refurbishments at Pop Century. Would you pay for the the upgrade?

Yes I would take the upgrade for $17/nt. If you’re going to use the resort though. If you really just need a bed between park time, then maybe stay with Pop.

For me I would be tempted to switch if staying 3 nights or less. If more than that I would stay at Pop, especially for the Skyliner. A short trip means only a couple of days affected by bus vs. Skyliner but for a longer stay we'd definitely stay with Pop.

Price out the Coronado room online with the spring discount and see the price it comes out as. That may just be the actual discounted price. Sometimes they send out “upgrade offers” that are just them trying to push you to a higher room, but the same as if you’d booked it yourself.

Personally I would not.
I dislike Coronado Springs.

Besides its likely not any more discounted than it would be if you simply booked the current offer at Coronado Springs.
Like Disney is not offering you anything that you can't already book for the same price.

Is it the normal price with the current public discount? That's all they've been giving people as "upgrade offers" lately. If that's it my answer is no, if you'd wanted it, you'd have booked it. If it wasn't available then and you wanted it, you'd have been watching for it when discounts came out.

No...maybe if it were at no cost and I hadn't been to CS nd wanted to try it, but otherwise no. It's way too big/spread out for us...mult. bus stops, no skyliner, food court is a bit odd and does not serve hot food during parts of the day etc. IMO it's not an upgrade when considering everything and on principle if they want ppl. to move then they can do it without charging them extra.

Disney uses CS for their cheerleader and dance competions in addition to the values. They give them an option of a moderate now I know they will be there at end of Jan.

I would take the opposite approach and take advantage of the skyliner if doing a shorter trip as I have less time to get things done.

If it was longer I would not mind switching to Coronado when the buses are not as big of an issue as I would have more time and I could also enjoy the resort.

Thanks everyone for your input, we have stayed at both before, but it has been several years.

It is truly and upgrade offer, I checked pricing, but I feel like I’ll Pop Century might be easier with little ones in strollers. We are going with my sis who has young kids.

we have stayed at the CSR twice now and Pop multiple. Love the skyliner option at Pop and it is so cutely themed, but I REALLY like CSR. For $12/night, I would go to CSR.

Just got offered an upgrade for Coronado or POR and the price is pretty much the same as what is posted online with the 25% discount now for mid-March.

Very much of the mindset that I would have booked it if I would have wanted it.

Also, I have a preferred room right now, but with the offered upgrades that are more money, I wouldn't have a preferred room...farther walk from the bus.
