We had ressies for the new 1 bdr villas at akl, they just called and said they were not going to be ready! they offered us the 2 bdr suite at the Akl on concierge level........should we take it ??? I have never seen these

Considering that a 2-bedroom AKL suite is more than $1200 a night, I believe I'd take it!

Check over at the all ears website. They have pictures of AKL concierge rooms but I have to agree with the previous poster: TAKE IT!!!!!!

Absolutey, with out a doubt take it and thank your lucky stars. It is a great room and you get concierge.

I do not understand why you would not want to take it.

The difference between the villas and the two bedroom suite - no laundry room, no full kitchen.

Thank you everyone for the advice. The dilema I had was not having a full kitchen and laundry room. I know that sounds a little funny but our daughter is on a high calorie diet and I cook frequent meals for her:love: . Also I like having the laundry so we do not have to pack as many clothes and I can take clean clothes home;) :laundy: I found out that I will have a micro and the treats they serve will also hold her over. I did take the room:goodvibes and we are really excited. This is not usually our luck, so it was a welcome surprise. This trip is for our daughter who spent 6 months last year in the hospital, 2 of those were in the ICU at NYC presbyterian. She had spinal surgery and unfortunatly suffered vision loss. She was considered leagally blind after her surgey, she has had 20 20 vision all her life. Slowly her vision has been getting better, she is about 20 70 with blind spots on her visual field. Still, she is the most positive young lady I could every hope her to be. We don't know how much more her vision will improve at this point. The fact that it has been improving is wonderful. She is the an amazing gift to me. I can't wait to see her at Disney!

Seems to me that the pixie dust has landed on a family who really needs it! pixiedust:

Enjoy the upgrade. You could always splurge and send some of your laundry out.

Have a fantastic trip!

I'd take it. Those suites are beautiful although a hike and a half from the lounge...but worth it! :)

Okay my next Q is, since our oldest daughter is now 19, is there an extra charge of 25 a night? I read that there is a extra charge if there are more than 2 adults? Does that apply to villas and suites or to the standard room. On our original ressie I did not see an extra charge for her?
Anyone now anything about this. Not that we would leave her home or anything :lmao: I just want to be financially prepared. And thank you for all the replies:goodvibes
