UPGRADE at HRH

We currently have three garden view rooms booked at HRH. I would love to upgrade to a nicer room (conceirge, suites, etc.)

Has anyone asked for an upgrade at check-in and recieved it? Was the price discounted at all?? Or was it just the difference between the rack rate price of the rooms?

Hi there,

We just got back from the HRH hotel. On checking in I asked if there were any upgrades possible as we were on our honeymoon. He said he'd see what he could do and carried on with the checking in process. To our suprise he then upgraded us from a standard room to a conceirge room free of charge (although I was more than willing to pay for an upgrade).

So I guess it certainly can't hurt to ask.
