Updated Value Resort?

Hi ya'll, do you know which value resort has been updated and if possible, when? Thank you.

Pop is my fave and I Believe it was updated in 2013. It along with Art has their own bus. art is the newest of all.

Art of Animation is the newest value resort, so probably the most 'updated' compared to the others.

We are deluxe people, but just spent two nights at AoA. We loved it. Definitely didn't feel value- the bathrooms in the suites were modern and super nice, and the entire resort was very well done.

The suites really aren't value priced, even though they are at a value resort.

Best Value Resort, in my opinion is Art of Animation which is categorized as a Value Resort, but it doesn't feel like one. The bathrooms are WAY nicer and more accommodating to a family of 4! Whichever Value you decide to stay at, bring your toilet paper and be prepared to share 1 sink with your family.

When did they stop providing toilet paper at values?

As for the other three values, each of them received a major rehab to their dining facilities over the last several years. I know that each value also got new laundry equipment for those who do clothes washing during their vacation. I do not understand the need to bring toilet paper. Never had the need to run out to a grocery store in the middle of the night for supplies. AoA of course is going to look the nicest as it is only what, two years old. My wife and I stay at Music every year and we have NEVER had any complaints. 30 more days and I say will be able to say "Hello Mickey" and ASMusic of course.

Oops, I forgot to specify. The toilet paper in the value resorts (except Art of Animation) is cheap one-ply. The Value Resort common areas provide better quality toilet paper, but nothing similar to Deluxe Resorts (quilted ply).

I realize my opinion of Value Resorts may sound completely biased, but after having stayed at most of the Moderate and Deluxe Resorts, it's hard to overlook the smallest of details.

With that said, some of my trips are planned on a tighter budget than others. Therefore, if a Value Resort is what I can afford at the time, I make the best of it (and I bring Charmin!!!)

We stayed at AOA and we definitely got toilet paper and it was just fine for the purpose!

I guess it depends on the person. I've stayed at 4 of the Moderates and 3 of the Deluxe resorts, and find the tp at the value resorts just fine. I can't even fathom bringing my own. But then, I don't waste the money on expensive tp at home either. Whatever is on sale does the job!

Yeah, being used to school system tp it doesn't even phase me. Haha!

No, I think it is what you are used to. Where I work we share a restroom with the public, and there is nothing soft or cushy about that tp, that is for sure!
