Update on the AMEX Best Buy offers….I used a $15 off $150 offer AND the +1 MR/$1 offer on an electronic $100 and $50 Disney gift card online. Both offers tracked and posted. I also used a $15 off $150 offer on a physical DGC in-store ($152 just in case ) and that tracked and posted too.

My Discover 5% cb is tracking. But I don't see any indication that I received the additional cb through PayPal. So, as it stands, it is a 13.8% discount, which isn't terrible. I'm hoping to receive the $15 coupon on 4/13 so I can buy another $175 in DGCs.

In reference to the 10-off-150 Mastercard gift card deal at Meijer, does that work on the variable load Mastercards? Sounds like it, but often this kind of deal requires buying the "next card up" ($200 or whatever) which I've always found kinda irritating. I am not sure why companies are so fond of offering a discount on a gift card that doesn't exist.

Not Meijer Rewards. American Express Membership Rewards points. AMEX had offers for both $15 off $150 at Best Buy AND an extra MR per dollar - I bought a $150 Disney GC and got the 150 MRs (1x) I’d get for any purchase, plus a bonus 150 MRs from the AMEX offer.

FYI my Amex Cash Magnet card has an offer for Avis, spend $350 or more and get $75 back. Expires 6/30/23. Can’t remember the last time I had a rental car discount.

I was trying to use CashApp to apply the 5% boost to my Sam’s purchase and it kept being denied for lack of funds. I only had the correct amount on the card. I removed the boost and added it again. No luck. So I went ahead and put the full amount in, and it processed at full price. It didn’t seem to take the boost for some reason. Unfortunately I had already applied the cash to the APP and needed the purchase processed.

Has anyone purchased an online gift card from Sams club with your 5% Discover card cash back lately. I purchased on 4/6 and still haven’t seen the money post on my cash back . Wondering if they changed and no longer allow online gift card purchase from Sam’s Club in the 5% category??
I may have to drive and hour and buy the actual card. Any info appreciated.
Or maybe I am being impatient……. Which sounds like me …,…..,
