I just don't think a lot of people think about it. Also having 2 factor authentication on for your email that goes to a different email or phone number and other accounts. Because once you lose control of your email, if that is where the codes are sent to verify identity you can't even change emails on a lot of accounts. Like MDE, you can't change your email on the account with out a code that is sent to that email on file, and it doesn't give you another option to have it texted to you.

That's probably the worst excuse.

As mentioned earlier, that's why it's important to request a verbal password to be added to your accounts, nothing changes without it.
We're still able to add offers to our cards but if trying to change emails we must call the CC company first.

The master list should also include your 401K, IRAs, banking institutions, loans etc. and if you use a CPA, include that as well.
Then add Insurance, home, auto and life.
Which should bring you to Wills, Trusts, Health Power of Attorney etc.

All these documents should be secured and up to date.

I even have a plan in place If something should happen, for my pups.

I drive them to the Vets, Mall dog parks, kennel and up north. They have harnesses that secure to the seatbelts but can I do more, am I missing anything?

They have implants.

Yes! DH is looking into that one. I think it's perfect for traveling around home and the gunner kennel is best for longer distances especially when driving over 50 miles per hr.

Interesting seeing how they've already closed quite a few stores. I wonder how many are left?
I'm sure we all wish them the very best. If I worked there, I'd hate to loose my job.

But to survive for longer than a few more months, the retailer has to make progress on the operational improvements, such as offering more national brands, which executives have been working on for more than six months.

I received a Best Buy email very early today with a subject line about "Save $70 on Apple Watch Series 8." After going through it, I saw no reference to a reward certificate. Maybe that part is targeted in some fashion.

Just noticed in my Cash App today that the normal 5% Boost for Sam's Club purchases (max $20 back per 24 hour period) is available, but says it expires in 2 days.

Currently shopKick is only at 2 Kicks per $1, so the total discount with shopKick is only ~9.5% off face value. If shopKick goes back up to 20 Kicks per $1, the overall discount (after you receive your kicks and trade them in for gift cards) would be ~16.4%.

This assumes you get 2 of the $50 eGCs from Sam's Club which are 4% off face value. The $75 (3x $25 physical GC) for $71.98 also is about 4% off face value - but I'm not allowed to buy more of them (it says "For a period of time, there's a limit of 2 items per membership and you cannot buy anymore. You can always check back in the near future to buy more." Most of the other options are more like 3% back.

Not nearly as good as the ~19% off when the boost was 8%, but not the worst discount either.

Private Equity is desperate for places to put their cash for high yield. Hudson Bay wants to play. If they get a decent pop the next couple months they’ll reap a big reward, if it all goes up in flames their stock is preferred so they’re higher up the food chain than the average Joe for money out of bankruptcy. Ultimately wise employees have a couple more months to job hunt- if they haven’t already been fired- while Wall St sees how much of this junk they can sell to Main St. before it all collapses. After all, it could be a deal PE bought Hertz in bankruptcy for $8/share. Wild times we live in…
