Otherwise still a nice grocery savings and if I really wanted to can just 'move' that money from the grocery budget into the GC/vaca budget. So with DoC's write up of Discover, I have to disagree regarding Target being not very useful:

• Target – Not very useful for someone who already has the 5% Target REDcard. It can still be useful for buying Target gift cards at Target which do not earn 5% on the Target REDcard.

Target offers 10% off Target Gift Cards during the holidays, last year it was December 4th only, $500 limit. When using Discover, you not only get the 10% off but you'll also be earning 5% cashback.
If using Target Redcard, you only get 10% off.

Edit to add: Target also offered 10% off on Oct 1, 2022.

However, you can use TGC in conjunction with Target Circle offers & Rewards and sale items with or w/o free TGC with purchase. The yearly 10% off is a very sweet offer.

I got an offer in email from Capital One, that if I used my BJs Mastercard for $400 in non-BJs purchases between now and Sept 9th, I would earn $40 in BJs rewards. Probably because I've never used my BJs card for anything other than the 3% back at BJs. But I have used rewards towards Disney gift cards on BJs online.

Replying to myself here. Did anyone else get this offer and have the email? It was around 8/9 or 8/10. If so, what is the date the rewards are supposed to post? I can't find my email. My statement just closed and no rewards for this posted.
