Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

I signed up for Shopkick because a neighbor wanted to get points for sending me the link and never thought I would bother with it, but it was so easy to just click through, I've kept it going and get a few gift cards.

But, Shopkick is telling me 'limit reached on some retailers for walk in kicks. Particularly Marshalls, which I go by maybe once a week. I went by the store and got 75 kicks a few days ago, then went to Costco, bought Cheerios and sent in the receipt for 1100 kicks. My 75 kick option then disappeared at Marshall's and instead I get 'limit reached' and 'try back in 2 weeks'.

Other retailers are open, except for walk in kicks at Walmart - limit reached on the 10 points. Usually do it maybe once a week.

Is anyone else having this same block? To put it in perspective, I'm working on a $25 Disney gift card since early December. Almost there. So I don't think I'm abusing this.
When I was Shopkicking a lot, I would also get messages that I’d hit the limit on walk-in kicks (or there just wouldn’t be a walk-in option). But they’d always come back after a certain period of time, which seemed to vary.

Does anyone know how it works if I went through RMN for multiple purchases (eg, if I wanted to use deals on multiple cards)? If the total cashback is $50 or less, should I be fine getting it on multiple purchases?
I have done multiples in a day. I have found that it's better to wait a few hours, use a different browser or to activate direct from the RMN website and not the browser extension. Sometimes it will tack your second purchase to the first and it won't track. When BB had the DGC's discounted, I would buy one on my computer and one through the app. I do not suggest doing transactions one right after each other.

Everyone check your Chase Offers for a BJs cash back offer. I got 10% cash back, up to $10, on two of my Chase cards. There was no language excluding Gift Cards in the offer.

I would be very careful about opening multiple RMN accounts. 2-3 years ago, I opened multiple RMN accounts with different email accounts and different credit cards tied to the same individual/SSN. I will admit that I went a little crazy - 4 or 5 accounts. There were some really good in-store offers back then that I hit hard over a few months, made close to $2K I think. I was caught, of course, and all of my RMN accounts were shut down. Well, they weren't shut down, really. They let me click through their offers, but then they wouldn't pay out because I had violated their terms. I closed all of my RMN accounts and checked back a few times per year until I was able to get an account that pays out. I've had a good account for about 5 months. I sign in via Paypal - not sure if that was the trick to get unbanned, or if it was just a matter of time.
Can you have other family members with their own credit cards but in same household? Im
wondering if it is per address? Or it is ok several ppl have RMN in same household.

You haven't done anything wrong to be limited, that's just how Shopkick works. They just don't spell it out in advance but everything is capped based on funds available. Here's the help section for walk-ins:
https://support.shopkick.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044070212-Why-isn-t-a-walk-in-available-
Why isn't a walk-in available?
When a store that normally offers walk-in kicks isn't offering any, it usually means you've hit your walk-in limit for that store or chain. We have limited funds from our partners for walk-ins, and we'd like to make sure as many people as possible can participate, which is why we have to limit walk-ins per person. To determine if you've hit your walk-in limit for a particular store or chain, we look at your previous 30 days of activity. If you've received walk-in kicks more than a certain number of times, the walk-in will not be available. If a walk-in is available, you will see the number of kicks you can receive listed in the store information screen.

They have also limited scans for stores sometimes. I remember Best Buy used to have thousands of points available each week at about 10 points per scan. Eventually they capped how many scans per day (or week? memory fuzzy) you could complete and so you couldn't actually get the maximum points showing.

IME the walk-in points would show up again when it said to try back.

I think it's fine for each individual to have their own account. That said, when I got shut down by RMN, my entire household got shut down. My wife and kids could not receive payouts for their RMN purchases even though they had not violated the rules.

Yeah, they are giving 175 at Marshall's today. I'm blocked. In the last 30 days I've received 2 of the 75 point walk in's at Marshall's. I really think they blocked me when I scanned the 1100 point receipt for the cereal at Costco. Almost certain I had Marshall's showing with points and then they were taken away.

My feeling is they only want you to get x number of points towards gift cards. Since October when I signed up I've gotten a $10 gift card and a $25 gift card. And now I'm at almost 6000 points for another $25 card (6250). So, about $60 in 5 months or a bit less.
I'm following their rules. It now says 12 days before I can do Marshalls again. Oh well.

I think it's fine for each individual to have their own account. That said, when I got shut down by RMN, my entire household got shut down. My wife and kids could not receive payouts for their RMN purchases even though they had not violated the rules.

DH and I have our own RMN accounts. We've not experienced any issues and I hit both hard using two computers. Our credit cards are not linked together like if he signs up for a cc and adds me to it. We are completely separate. Also note, it doesn't hurt to keep cc's in your maiden name, 35 years and going strong!

I'm all caught up, big thank you to @happiestpoe for the weekend updates. Offers posted have been added to the main pages. Let's dig into the new changes on Happy Brand gift cards!

Update added to Discount District / Happy Gift Cards DP

Happy, Choice & Giving Good Changes: Best Buy Added, New Brands & Happy Lady Retired by GC Galore

Blackhawk Network has made a bunch of changes to its multi-store gift cards. They’ve launched new Choice and Giving Good brands, seemingly retired a Happy brand and changed retailers on a couple of Giving Good brands. Here’s a roundup of all the changes.

New Brands:

649039
Choice Thank You Gift Card
Includes:
Old Navy, Ulta Beauty, Applebee’s, Chevron/Texaco, Regal Cinemas, Grubhub and Total Wine.

649040
Choice Oh Baby! Gift Card
Includes
: Baby Gap, Nordstrom Rack, Buy Buy Baby, Carter’s and Honest

649042
Choice Yay You! Gift Cards
Includes
: Dave & Buster’s, AMC Theatres, Bed Bath & Beyond, BJ’s Restaurant, Express, Grubhub and Athleta.

649043
Giving Good American Cancer Society Gift Card
Includes:
Under Armour, Outback Steakhouse, Macy’s, Harry & David’s, GameStop and Ulta Beauty

649038
Giving Good St Jude Children’s Research Hospital Gift Cards
Includes:
Regal Cinemas, Domino’s, Chili’s, IHOP, AutoZone and Best Buy

Retired Brand (?)

I’m not 100% sure about this change, but it looks like the Happy Lady brand has been retired. It’s been removed from sites like Giftcards.com, GiftCardMall and HappyCards.com, all of which are owned by Blackhawk Network and who are the ones who issue these multi-store cards.

This was one of the few remaining brands that could be redeemed in-store rather than having to exchange it online for gift cards for the eligible retailers/restaurants. That could be a loss for people who were able to buy Happy Lady gift cards at a discount and subsequently buy Visa gift cards or other high-value gift cards at Bed Bath & Beyond with the physical Happy Lady card.

:thumbsup2 GC Galore

I don't know anything about football, gambling or squares...all I can tell you is DH won $500 on the game through a school sponsored charity event.

Or should I say, I won $500! :rotfl:

I wanted to touch base on RMN, can you make purchases back to back.
Yes you can but it's not recommended, heed the advice of @misssue23 and other's who have tested the waters.

I conducted my own test with RMN's recent Madewell offer, now expired.
I waited two hours to place my second order, so far so good. I even went a step deeper into the Land of Void and added a $100 egift card on the largest purchase. Just to be clear, I used Madewell Amex Offer: Spend $100 & Get $20 Back, stacked it with the saving code while possibly earning 20% cb. We'll see how things go come 4/06/22. :thumbsup2

The larger issue for me is when you return a single item or one of your items is cancelled, your entire cb is deemed ineligible. Pick your battles, nonetheless that's my fight with RMN. Sometimes I win, sometimes I don't, 99% of the time I buy merchandise not gift cards so I'm not worried about my account being flagged, which is where we most likely part ways.
