So you made the purchase on your phone? I used desktop. And I don't have anything posted on my account. Why are my offers so different, am I doing something wrong? I don't get this.
I placed the order on the PC. The attachment is a screenshot of the email I received this morning.
This is what I saw yesterday on the ShopDisney site and asked the original question: 1%-8%:

Not sure what credit card you used but if it was for Grocery category, it won't work. Hopefully you read the DP's prior to purchasing?

Yes, I think I read everything thoroughly. No, I wasn't trying to trigger the credit card grocery category- instead it's spend towards a cc sign up bonus (SUB). That's what you're referring to, correct? Here are the steps I followed:

Signed up for online Kroger account
Linked my alternate id/rewards number
Clipped the digital coupon for 4x rewards
Navigated to the egift card portal from the digital coupon
Signed in again
Filtered for gcs offering 4x
Purchased (2) $200 Gift of College cards, each with $5.95 fees
Received GOC gcs and redeemed them at GOC's website

Now just waiting for fuel points to show up. Did I miss anything?

Thanks for any guidance here.

Looks perfect to me. Way to go! :thumbsup2
Are you near Kroger's? How do you plan on using the fuel pts?
We fill up two cars in a single transaction to get the full 35.
In Wisconsin, so our Kroger owned stores are PickNSave. Seems they use BP gas stations to fulfill their fuel rewards. This is my first time and I'm testing the waters, so worst case I'm out $11.90 in those gc fees.

Yes, we do plan to fill up both cars at the same time, which is why I'm sweating these points. :rotfl2: I need to get gas this weekend. It there's any glitch, I know I have until the end of March to use the points. I am planning to buy $600 more in gcs this month though (I have it all mapped out with my cc MSR) and so I hate to miss a fuel fill-up opportunity. That's assuming this first go-round works.

@Cruising Engineer,

I'm so sorry for the mix-up. I honestly have no clue why our offers are so different. I've been completely upfront, showing my account details.
I must admit I don't use Honey regularly even so, I cannot explain the differences. :flower3:

You should be fine. Anyone can sign up for a Kroger account, you just have to have a place to fuel up to use those points. Also note, you can transfer any remaining fuel points from one month to another so you don't loose them but you have to call. Lastly, Kroger had an online gift card sale with a promo code, it was a very nice discount, anyway you'll be all set next time.

When purchasing gift cards online at Kroger, there's no need to clip the in-store digital coupon. Kroger Online offers a place to add your Loyalty # so the fuel pts track. They also have a 4x Fuel button, just click it to see all the gc's it applies to.

I really hope in the future Kroger will offer it's customers a way to use fuel points on groceries. They did test this out a few years ago via a digital coupon. You can read more about that on Doc of Credit

Thanks, this is why I don't use Honey very often (variable rewards) but use them for notifications of price drops. Have a great weekend.

The Blue Cash Preferred is 6% for grocery stores all the time. I keep thinking about upgrading my Blue Cash.

The Blue Cash Preferred gives you 6% back on the first $6000 of spend and comes with a $95 annual fee. So if you spend the full $6,000, the preferred would get you $265 cash back (6000*.06 -95=265) while the regular blue cash would get you $180 cash back. The break even point is $3,166.67. So as long as you are 100% sure you will use the card to spend more than $3,166.67 each year at grocery stores, then it is worth it.

(Of course, if you are getting a signup bonus or are able to get the annual fee waived, then it is definitely worth it.)

I use my Blue Card Preferred at the beginning of each year and max out by August ($6000) with strictly groceries and DGC (DVC and Cruises). Great deal for us. Then I have to switch over to a Barclay MC for points, and those points pay for the flights to WDW. Dang, the Mouse makes me work hard to save $$$$.

Not sure if its the same for everyone but every time I pay for a Disney GC at ShopDisney with Paypal, it always takes forever. I'm probably going to have to call in due to a fraud hold. I bought two cards...one with paypal and one with typing my CC number in. Got the CC number one within 20 minutes. Still haven't gotten the paypal one yet and I had ordered that first.

Right, that with the 6% on streaming and 3% on gas would make it worth it. I have a teenage son, so I'd reach that break even number easily :-). I just haven't pulled the trigger.

I just hate calling it a 6% card. Companies like Amex call it that to try to fool people and sound like it is more than it is. You really only end up getting 4.4% back once you account for the annual fee.
