FYI, there isn’t really one for Nintendo. Their online service includes old games (nes & snes). The premium tier includes genesis and N64 (which so far seem to be emulated badly) games. i just have the regular service but that’s so my kid can play Splatoon 2 online.

A very strange cashback app story... I used the cashback with the 10% Sams Club boost to buy 2 $100 Sams Club gift cards on November 23. With the boost, I paid $180 for the gift cards. I received the gift cards in the mail around a week later. However, on the same day I saw that my cash app had a $180 balance so for whatever reason Sams club had refunded my money. I thought that meant I had free gift cards but when I tried to use the gift cards it said they had no balance. So I just transferred the money from the cash app back to my bank account and figured no big deal - they didn't charge me and I didn't get any gift cards. Except 3 days later I get an email from the cash app that my balance was now at -$180. So I called Sam's Club and told them what happened and after getting the run around between customer service they finally said they would cancel the order and give me a refund. I got the refund today and they refunded the full $200 so somehow I made $20 out of this!

The thing to remember when using things like the cashapp is that you are forfeiting credit card protection. By law, if you file an unauthorized charge or that you didn't receive the item, the credit card sides with you. But cahsapp has no such law applying to them. My story had a happy ending but had Sam's Club not been willing to refund me, I would have had to fight with the cashapp and unlike a credit card, there is no guarantee they would have given me my money back.

Are you a Prime Credit Card holder? The discounts are for cardholders.

The 10% discount also includes the 5% credit you receive as a cardholder, so they’re really only giving you an extra 5% off.

Yes I am a Prime CC holder. When I go to checkout, I don't see the discount but I share Prime with my brother. He is the main so he technically has the Prime CC that gets more % back while I hold the one that gets 3% back. Maybe that is why.

That would be my guess, if you’re only getting 3% back, then you have the Amazon Rewards Card, which is apparently a different card from the Amazon Prime Rewards Card, which is what the promotion applies to.
That being said, it appears if you are considered a Prime member, you should be able to upgrade your card: Upgrade to 5% Back on Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card

I’m not positive this would give you the benefits such as the gift card deal, but it wouldn’t hurt to upgrade your card if Amazon lets you.
