So now the big Q... do I try it again with the same Walmart account (I only have 1) using MY paypal this time. I used my Wife's paypal the first time.

Order #2: Added a $10 Chipotle gift card to change the total. Order Placed at 2:00; Order Delivered at 2:44. Card is safely in my DisneyGiftCard account now.

I used the same Walmart account but this time used my Paypal account. Now attempting Order #3 with my wife's other Paypal account - she has two accounts. One she setup long ago, and one I setup for her more recently for CC type stuff I was doing. This time I'm adding a $15 Starbucks card to again make it a different total.

If this one goes through we'll use $1,495 of our Discover $1,500 quarterly 5% between 3x Target promo and 3x this promo! It's been a good week!

It was a good day for us, too. Between this and the Target offer and the DGCs we had accumulated previously, we know have all wee need for our DVC annual dues in January for all three contracts!

I got it to work twice with my usual Walmart account, third attempt with my old Walmart account was canceled and my 4th attempt, creating a new Walmart account, got me this message. I tried 4 times and got the message every time.

*edit - went back and tried again with my Walmart account that worked for the first 2 gift cards and now get this message.

My philosophy on these offers like the paypal one is to wait a day or two before using the offer, and not try to order a gift card at the same time as 6 million others are when there is more of a chance of the system cancelling it.

Check your Amex offers for a new happy gift card offer for $15 off a $100 happy card purchase through 12/31/21. I had the offer on my card and all 8 of my authorized user cards. If your Bed Bath & Beyond has self checkout, you can buy the happy card that includes BBB and buy Disney or Amazon or any other gift card at the self checkout. If your BBB doesn't have self checkout, then some cashiers may give you a hassle but most don't usually care.

I have called Paypal about why I was charged $500 and not $450... they told me I need to talk to Target... I called Target and they told me I need to talk to Paypal about it (which is what I assumed as the deal was on the PayPal website).

Calling PayPal back and getting transferred 3 times, someone there confirmed these are "One and Done" deals. Because my first transaction was cancelled through Target.com, and I had to try a 2nd time on each one, the deals were gone with the first one. "Nothing we can do about that" - "Once you click the 'Use Offer' button, that is it, your one chance to use it."

So I will not be trying the Walmart deal a 2nd time. Nor will I be using Paypal checkout for that matter.

Whatever, so I paid $1,000 for two $500 gift cards, at least I get the 5% cash back on Discover this month, like I would normally get on my Target Redcard. I just hadn't planned on making a $1,000 purchase for this trip yet, it was just that 14.5% off was too good to pass up.

when I tried to order walmart e gc I got a weird pay page with no paypal option...so I ended up getting some hulu and apple tv gc instead

I don’t understand that when pay pal canceled transaction that it did not automatic cancel your purchase through target.

I had the same thing once with an Amex offer...my transaction got cancelled and went I went to use the offer a second time I did not get the offer.

I did this offer this morning for both my husband and I. 1 worked and one didn't. Used same walmart account for both and 1 flagged for fraud alert. I then created walmart account for my husband and tried again but even though I went through saved offer it didn't take $10 off. My mistake to use same Walmart account . Lesson learned!!

I had the same experience. Mine went through, husband's didn't. Created account for him and tried again. No discount, but it didn't matter because Walmart cancelled again.
