Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

I have an authorized user on my card. They have their own card number with their name on it, which they can use on their own Circle app account, but the costs ultimately bill to one card account. And because the eligibility for these cashback Circle offers is based on the app (not the card), yes, they get their own offers.

How long ago did this happen?
And have you both been able to cap out the $500 limit on Target gift cards when they go on sale for 10% off? That was a huge deal for Target as people went above & beyond to buy more.

So what you're saying is you only have ONE Target credit/debit card and your able to use that card on TWO separate Circle accounts on the Same offer? This is news to me.

You don't need to have a Target credit/debit card to get Circle offers. And yes, it's true, when using a Circle offer, you can use any credit card:
  • Target also accepts Apple Pay & PayPal and other major credit cards.
    • Use the U.S. Bank Shopper Cash Rewards Visa Signature Card for 6% cash back - The U.S. Bank Shopper Cash Rewards Visa Signature Card offers 6% cash back on two retailers you choose, on up to $1,500 in combined eligible purchases.
There are three Target accounts in my household and all of them use DH's Red Card (credit). So we get the 5% off on top of whatever circle bonus each account was targeted for

I’ve been a Red card credit card user with an authorized user for probably a decade at least and have always used them this way (for ease of bill paying). I honestly thought everyone else did too! Every Christmas season we watch for the discounted Target card offers in the app and buy as much as each account allows. We both bought discounted Disney gift cards this morning with the Circle offer we each had, respectively (which differed between us).

Mind Blown! No kidding!

Yeah, I thought this is what everyone did as well, lol. Last November we maxed out on the 10% off Target GCs on the three accounts--so $1500 worth. All paid with the same card. And then, of course, a Chase Ink card helps out some more when it's time to pay the Red Card bill

Wait…how does the Chase Ink card help?

While many Peeps are buying discounted DGC for their next trip, we are not. I wish there was a way we could use them at Tokyo Disney Resort, heck let's add all Disney theme parks. I feel like I'm missing out as I haven't purchased any DGC in a long long time.

I am glad to see changes to Genie+ as that's something we've never purchased since it launched. Getting up at 6:45am to book a ride ~ while on vacation?! No thanks! In the future and on a work week, DH can book free at will! Pow, pow! Happy dance!

I'll have to figure a way to save on our TDR trip 2026, any ideas?
Yep, new credit card Check! Anything else?

No need for gift cards in Tokyo, just use the amazing current exchange rate!😅

You don't use gift cards at Disney World? I use them for all my food, tickets, and hotel for the rare times I stay on site.

I actually like G+ but only regularly bought it for DHS. We had it for our arrival day in April, we had an 8 AM flight so was up to book Slinky Dog at 7 AM, and just kept stacking from there.

Wait, what? We do use DGC at WDW and DL however I didn't need to buy any as I had a stack of them for our two (two week) trips we didn't get to take due to Covid. This last trip we took in the spring at Ft. Wilderness, I didn't need to buy any DGC. I still have a few hundred left. I don't know when we'll be back. Currently our plan is to go to TDR in 2026 for (hopefully) three weeks.

If you're going to be up anyway at 6:45 or 7am, it was a plus but for us we don't get up early while on vacation. We really, really enjoy staying out very late and sleeping in.

Mine was $120 spend for $15 back; my spouse’s was the same as yours. Always add your spouse on as well as a buyer on your Target card and check to see if they get a bonus in their app, too.
I didn't know that was a thing--thanks for the tip!!

I have $15 on 125 and DH has 10 on 40. This is like a top 5 moment over here--I had no idea! We pay dues with DGC and have a big trip coming up in November for my sister and niece's 5th birthday/first visit.
