*UPDATED* DISDivas & Family October Mini Meet *UPDATED* (3.0 Version!)

I am going to try and come. But it will only be me. I would there Thursday night until Sunday morning. Does anyone need a roomie? I need to check the schedule of events but I am going to attend Miss. Sally's party & the Halloween party. It's a huge secret from the kiddos!!

I would vote for the 2:35 show, and here is why:

The first 2 shows will most definitely be packed because of lunch.
If we meet in front of the Horseshoe at around 1:25, we'll be there 5-10 minutes before the 1:00 show ends.
As the crowd leaves the building when the show ends, we will make our way up to the front row, so I can get a good look at that gloroius hunk 'o man! :lovestruc

Once we have our tables, we can take turns leaving to get food, FPs, bathroom, etc. We'll have about an hour to have snacks, visit, whatever.

What do you all think?

Sounds good to me!

Yay!!

Do you want me to add you back on the Photopass list?

Any chance of us going to one of the later Billy shows, like the one at 1:00 or 2:35? (Those are listed on the previous Saturday).

The schedule confused me. I thought it meant that BH&HB were only playing until 11:50am and then some other act would be showing. They split it into two different venues...weird.

Good Idea about avoiding the lunch crowds. It sounds like a great plan. (P.S.....Can't wait to see your "boyfriend" in person....LOL!)

Yes, please & thank you!!

Did you find a roomie, Deb??? I'm so excited that you're coming :woohoo:

Heather, are you doing the Fantasmic dessert seating? I'm wondering if someone can get seats for Jesse and I as well - not meaning buy the tickets (I'll do that ;)), but I think we're going to do the Haunted Halloween Tour that day as well and get the seats for the fireworks through that, then do the late Fantasmic (which is the one everyone was thinking about). Heather or Stacie - do you think you can do that? I believe we'll still be on the tour and you have to line up early to get the front row seats...... I'll buy you a glass of Magicale or a Dole Whip :rolleyes1

I might have a room. But if not I will try to talk DBF into going and he can get the room. Hmm I wonder what the price is at PPH??

I'm not sure you want to ask Heather, she might not recognize you when you want your tickets!!! :rotfl2:

We probably wouldn't be able to pick yours up, but you can do that when you pick up your other tickets, right? And then you can give them to us and we'll meet you there!! But do we have to have everyone present before they'll give us our seats??

Ha, that's true and it IS Halloween, so who knows what I'm gonna look like....... mysterious!!!

I actually meant I will pick up my tickets, but you have get your seats assigned, and that's what I was talking about - by the infamous podium by the churro cart :thumbsup2 I can buy them and pick them up (you should be able to get yours printed out at the front desk of the Grand!!!), but we will have to wait to get seats assigned and it's first come, first served. We will still be on the tour when that happens - we'll be finished before the fireworks, but I think people line up around 6:00-7:00 to get the seats. I know both the early and late shows line up together.

Hey Hey! I'm here to defend my honor, and I've never snuck drinks in in baggies.....at DLR! :rotfl: Ah, I miss my college days of carefree carelessness!

I'm sure someone (including me!) would be more than happy to get your seats for F!. In fact, I assumed someone or two or three would volunteer to get them for everyone. It wasn't a bad wait when D and I did it a few weeks ago. We had a nice time chatting with others in line. We ended up getting first row.

It will work out! :thumbsup2

Hey Deb. I will be there Wed, and Thurs night. You are welcome to crash with me Thursday night.:thumbsup2 I'm at HOJO's.

Hi all, back from d23 and exhausted. I'm not positive we can get all the seats assigned if those people are not there - does anyone know this for certain?

Also, there are some who are thinking the first show may be better for them. Too tired to go into it now.... zzz.

Everything I've read about it says that only one person per party needs to be in line. If you've read something differently that would make you doubt this please show us. We don't want some to end up without a seat.

I guess some can do the early show and some can do the late show. Doing the early show would count you out of dinner and fireworks. I can understand being tired though.

I might not do the dessert seating at all now. I'm really trying to watch my budget for the next year.

Heather

Hi, no I was only asking if anyone knew for sure that we just needed one person to get the seat assignments. That is great.

They are thinking doing the dinner, then going to the first show of F!, then staying in the comfy seats to see the fireworks. Only downside is not seeing it from the front of the castle, but the upside is an earlier experience, and getting to sit for both presentations. Sometimes it is chilly at 11 PM in Oct here.

But of course the third option is there too, not doing it at all because it will be easier on the budget. The big event is the Halloween party and the fun of seeing the rides decorated it seems (I've never been before in Oct!)
