....so who has a connection to this actress... I am 70 and don't recall seeing any of her movies.. even her 3 movies that are part of cinema history and I don't care to watch... I get why Val kilmer and Bruce Willis documentary and look forward to Springsteen movie

i've enjoyed watching her films over and over-life with father, little women, father of the bride/father's little dividend. my favorite is giant.

There are now SO many channels that it seems like they are constantly looking for new content to fill up the airtime.

Seriously? Like her or not, she's a Hollywood icon. Why do you think a documentary about her is superfluous?

The Springsteen movie is not a biopic about him; it's about a very specific couple of years in his life. I didn't find it very compelling, though I love Nebraska. It wasn't very cohesive, and I didn't find White very convincing.

You are correct!!! This is not new...BBS has already broadcast the documentary to sub par mixed reviews and found it's purpose off or even misleading...Fox purchased it because for streaming content and between the lines of the contract I suspect some significant clauses because I just couldn't figure out why until research of the production

One good docudrama to look forward to is Richard Linklater's new film Blue Moon, a night in the life of Lorenz Hart, the opening night of Oklahoma! on Broadway.

She is a Hollywood legend, why not her?
So who is alive that saw her movies from 1956 to 1968 being her last successful film..on the big silver screen???..who is going to sit and rember?? Who is the target audience that must know the details of a interview about a life that has been subject to many interviews and magazines ...842 on eBay of which 37 sold. When Redford died I watched as much as I could on antenna tv... because he was part of the fabric of my life...I didn't know that Bagger Vance was his project...as many times I have watched that movie over and over.
Sure Taylor was a super star from 1956...1968...and I guess my cinema professors thought our class had seen those significant movies as they were never discussed or shown

Given that Taylor has a whole song called Elizabeth Taylor on The Life Of A Showgirl, I'm going to guess there will be a surge in interest in Elizabeth Taylor. Brilliant timing.

The Elizabeth Taylor doc? I didn’t know that. I’ll pass, not watching anything from the kartrashian.
Fox News ...

"FOX Nation today announced it has acquired exclusive U.S. rights to Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar, the three-part docuseries produced by entrepreneur and media icon Kim Kardashian with Passion Pictures and distributed internationally by Fremantle. The acclaimed series will make its anticipated U.S. debut on FOX Nation on Monday, October 6."

Because she was hot 60 years ago in peoples opinion back then and Faux is stuck in the past. And she produced a lot of drama with 8 marriages.
