Updated Brown Derby menu - burger change & other tweaks

Looks like Brown Derby has updated their menu. I have a reservation in a few days and just happened to check this morning and saw the signature burger has changed, the tuna appetizer has changed, added a mushroom risotto, and a few other tweaks. Has anyone noticed any other menu changes at other spots?

That is a lot of changes from last week. Right off the bat, the filet and Halibut are new, and they removed the plant based chopped steak. We had the new flourless chocolate mocha cake, and it had the consistency of a thick pudding. The Wagyu burger was the best burger on property. Comparing ingredients, that was definitely a cost-cutting decision.

We went twice last week. The first time the Cobb Salad was $18 and the next time it was $20.

Yeah. I am local-ish and was craving the burger. I have an ADR in a few days. Kinda bummed.

I haven't noticed any differences from the last time I went (April) other than price. I did notice then that they no longer offer the Cobb Salad as an appetizer, which was a bummer since that size was better for me than the full salad.

Had the burger yesterday at lunch. It was good. Had them to cook the egg over hard as I don’t like runny eggs. The flavor of the burger patty was very good. The fries on the other hand were disappointing. Not that good. The Grapefruit cake was delicious.

OP, I'm glad you shared this. I was looking forward to the plant based chopped steak with mushroom gravy... I like mushroom gravy. The new plant based mushroom dish doesn't really appeal. I'm not too picky, but the new allergy options don't seem as great. I've never been to HBD, but was planning on and looking forward to giving it a try the next time around. Oh well, life has bigger problems

We had that burger over spring break and it was delicious, but we like sunny side up eggs....rare!
