Updated BCV & BWV Room Info

Those are great! Is there one for OKW already out there? Going in 2 weeks!!! :flower1:
I have one for OKW, not nearly as nicely done and complete as this though. And I'm afraid I'm not computer literate enough to post it. But if you PM me your Email address, I THINK I can attach it to an Email (only took me 5 tries to learn this and DS's help).

I pm'd the OP with this info after the last update, but I guess it got lost because it's not on the latest spreadsheet. BWV room 4117 is a standard one bedroom. Very large balcony spanning from LR to BR. Good Illuminations view. Long walk from elevator. Close to Community hall and both pools (left to community hall and the quiet pool, right to the main pool) if you walk down the steps across from the room exit. Easy access to bus stop, which can be viewed from the balcony. Also a view of a pond outside the room, and of the drop off area in front of the resort. Very quiet off the beaten track room, I loved it. :cool1: :smooth:

Add BWV 5051:

1 bedroom dedicated, boardwalk view
Non-Smoking
Not Handicapped
Close to elevators
Open balcony off living room, no balcony off bedroom.
View of boat dock, lake, village green
High Illuminations fireworks

Sorry for the delay in the updates. I've been swamped with work and a few personal issues. I hope to update everything this weekend. I only have about a dozen reports (plus the posts of the last 2 days).

Sandy

Thanks for the updates Sandy. I took a walk in my trip last week to confirm the GV Room numbers. Didn't stay in them, but you can add:

3037, 4047, 5037

Looks like the 5037 and the 5035 you already have are the two floor ones.

The 47 ones are across the first section on the BW (above screen door) and the 37 ones plus the 35 one are in the taller 6 story section.

Hope this helps.

Oh, I looked at BWV and see you haven't added my latest room report. I posted it on 12/9 - not sure when you updated!

5081/5083 (studio, 1br) near the end of the SV rooms that are on the 5th floor. Non-smoking, non-handicapped. Directly across from taxi and bus parking. Can see Illuminations over the BWI. One large open porch for 1br portion and small open one for studio portion. Studio is on the left. Only about 8 rooms away from elevator, so not a long walk at all. Very quiet as there are only about 10 rooms beyond this room (They are PV rooms, overlooking the two pools).

Just wanted to add some info on the rooms we had, BWV 2BR 5007/5009 - the 1BR portion (5009) had a double balcony (from the LR to the BR) that was uncovered and the view was slightly blocked by the red building section next to it, and the studio portion (5007) had a small balcony (fit the two chairs only) that was covered.

Also had 5553 at VWL. Great villa, 2BR dedicated. One thing I want to add is that the master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling, which was really nice from the standard box rooms. :)

BCV 378 is a Dedicated 2 BR with 2 Queens (non-handicapped). It is the last room at the end of the hall with essentially a parking lot view.

BCV 433 is a Dedicated 2 BR with 2 Queens (non-handicapped) as well. It has a courtyard view and is fairly close to the elevators.

Not sure anymore about the room number..but I think it was 529 at the BCV and the main point I would make about this 1BR was that the balcony was ENCLOSED which makes it seem less like a balcony..there are a few rooms on the top floors like this and I would avoid them if possible in the future...

What is a one bedroom dedicated at the BCV's and aone bedroom L? I know what a 2 bedroom dedicated is as I have stayed in them but don't know what this is. Thanks

Clarifications on BCV rooms we've stayed in, all on p. 6:
529 -- just stayed in a couple weeks ago! View is bonkers; it's the same as 531: woods, Epcot World Showcase, Illuminations (but NOT Fantasmic as 531 says!)

546 & 548 -- have identical views; direct view of Epcot SSE, Canada, indirect view of Illuminations Fireworks (you can see them all if you stand up to the railing)

It must be tough to put this all together; we appreciate it!

There are dedicated and lockoff 1 bedrooms. A dedicated means there is no connecting door. A lockoff does have the connecting door. The 6 times I have stayed at BWV we always had a 1 bedroom dedicated. It's preferrable because noise tends to come through that connecting door from the next room.

Room 2065 is a dedicated studio, non-smoking, prefered view. This room is on the same floor as the check-in desk - I guess they call this the second floor. It is right around the corner from the little store - Dundries?? or something like that. It was maybe only 40 feet to the elevators. It had a daybed, couch, and queen bed, a small table with two chairs, and a 19" tv. It had a big closet, and four small drawers in the TV armoire. It had a nice ceiling fan which did sqeak. The AC worked great. The room was what I call - gently worned. The sofa, drapes, and carpet could have used a good cleaning, but we still loved the room. Teeny bathroom (only one small overhead light made for a dim bathroom) with the sink area outside. The room was stocked as is usually posted. The fridge, microwave, and toaster worked fine.
The balcony was perhaps 10 x 10. We did not share the balcony with anyone. Our room was actually right above the health club and overlooked the beautiful porch of the hotel's Boardwalk entrance. Noise from all of the foot traffic both inside and outside the hotel was very minimal. No views of any fireworks or Epcot:wave:

We have stayed in 2 different rooms at SSR and would be happy to give reviews. Let me know if/when you start one

Here is another one for you...

BCV Room 367 - Dedicated 2 bedroom w/2 queens - non-HA and Non-smoking - two smaller balconies (none in the second bedroom)

View of higher fireworks at Epcot and Spaceship Earth. Directly over the canal. Some noise from the service road bridge junctions (thump thump), may bother some but not others.
