Update: Rainforest Cafe at AK discounts?

I know there is potential here for some discounts! (I have no experience so I'm hoping for some feedback from those who are in the know)

1) 10% discount for AARP members (but not AAA members according to MouseSavers it seems), pay with Landry's gift cards acquired at a discount

2) 10% discount for AARP members pay with WDW Room Charge then pay off with Disney gift cards acquired at a discount. Discount less than Landry's cards but I don't risk being stuck with something I can't spend (this will be our only visit to a Landry's for the foreseeable future)

3) Landry's Select: $25 to join and then a $25 credit towards first purchase but it is not allowed to be stacked with the birthday $25 (which we would actually qualify for over our trip) makes this appear useless to us (one time visitors). Are there ever join for free offers on this club?

TIA for any guidance or other suggestions on this one, currently I'm leaning towards option 2. (Also, I saw mention they don't allow discounts plus use of gift cards?)

I know you can do Number 3 and use gift cards, I've done that before. I've also used our AP discount and been able to use gift cards for the balance.

I know Sam's club has this deal right now for gift cards.

The main advantage of the Landry's select club is that you get priority seating. Not having to make a reservation is really nice. You just walk in and show the hostess your card and you will get the next available table.

Also keep in mind that it is valid at all Landry's restaurants -- not just the ones in WDW

Update from mid-Nov: we skipped the gift cards and just charged it to our room which we paid with Disney gift cards. We joined the club for the priority seating since we knew we wanted to eat there but didn't know when in our day we would make it. Figured the cost was 0 after the $25 initial discount. We had a birthday reward on there as well but the manager came over to process the Landry's card and thank us for being members and say he'd taken the $25 off. We mentioned oh we have a birthday reward but he was quick to say you cannot use them at the same time. Priority Seating was definitely not necessary as we didn't make it there until late lunch but we did chat with our server a bit who told us they had the card and had gotten great use out of the priority seating feature at other Landry properties in the area. I'm sure it will come in handy in our travels in the future.
