Update- page 3. Omg! AAA did not pay off our package and Disney cancelled it!

I just realized (after checking our credit card) that AAA never called in our payment for our package!!!!! I called AAA at day 48 just to give them an extra 3 days to pay. I can't believe they didn't pay it! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

Disney cancelled our reservations and possibly all our ADRs, including our fireworks cruise and CRT. I'm on the phone with CRO, and there's no availability. They just switched me to Guest Services (while I'm in tears sobbing) to try to help.

I am so upset and furious. Please send PD this way that we can get our ressie back and that our ADRs weren't cancelled. I am so upset, I just can't believe it.
 
Don't worry too much right now. Disney is very accomodating with situations like these and I'm sure they will figure something out for you. Relax and see what happens, let us know. :wizard:
 
Wow, I am so sorry this has happened. Lots of Pixie Dust ************ that they get it fixed. It's really bad, AAA should be the ones on the phone taking care of this for you. What did your TA say as to why they didn't call it in to Disney Travel?
I just paid mine off too, but did it like 58 days ahead and I have been watching to see if it shows up on CC bill. Which after about week it did! I would have called AAA if it wasn't there. I normally do all this myself, but wanting the dining package & the discount you have to depend on someone else to do their job. Hope all works out for you. :grouphug:

This is one reason that when it comes to disney reservations, I book on my own, and will call CRO for my AAA discount. I tried this one time through AAA, and they couldn't get it right even though I was there and gave them the information. I found out a week later when I got something from them in the mail, the dates were wrong and so was the resort.

I am soooo sorry. I hope all works out. Let us know. For Disney to actually cancel the package it had to be within 30 days of arrival without a payment

I am so glad that my TA sends me emails when finals are paid this way I can rest easy and know it was done

Have you talked to AAA - even though its not showing on your credit card statement that does not mean it hasn't been taken care of...sometimes these numbers sit...at Disney as well as at AAA. Talk to AAA and make them take care of it - they do have your morey.

Definitly call AAA... & talk to the highest up you can. Many times when companies mess up this bad you can get BIG discounts... or something extra free.

OMG! Triplefigs I am SO sorry...I hope they work everything out--this is just terrible:( Your trip was what I always looked at as my ideal Disney trip--perfect location, perfect ADRs and perfect activities--and it would just be a crime for AAA's mistake to hurt you or your family...I certainly hope Disney can work it out. Sending TONS of Pixie Dust your way...I really have faith it will work out. I am SO sorry this happened to your family...that is just WRONG.

OMG, I am so sorry this happened to you!!!!!

Why the heck is that travel agent not dealing with this fiasco?! I know it is Saturday, but they must have SOMEONE in the office who can get ahold of your agent. I don't care if it is her PERSONAL time or not. I can get ahold of my agent or someone in her office pretty much 24/7.

For every good AAA agent there are 5 bad it seems. Stick with the online Earmarked agents who KNOW what they are doing! I am sure the initial AAA discount was not worth it now, especially after a special is released that YOU had to contact that agent for and negated the reason for using AAA in the first place.

I would raise holy H E double toothpicks.
 
I would be horrified if they did that to me. DEFINITELY pitch a fit at AAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pirate:

I also can't understand why your TA isn't the one working on this as they made the mistake (and I say this as someone who has been in the travel business for 20 years). They should be working with Disney to fix their mistake. I would definetly call your agency and speak to a manager.
 
That is just AWFUL! I would be a complete wreck! Please keep us informed of how this is resolved!
 
DH and I were thinking of booking our trip through AAA....this may change our minds.
