Thank you for your many phone calls and well wishes as Florida continues to recover from Hurricanes Charley, Frances, and more recently, Ivan.
The Walt Disney World® Resort safely withstood the impact of the two storms which passed through our area, maintaining power and sustaining only minimal horticultural damage. All Walt Disney World Theme Parks and operations are open and fully operational.
On Monday, September 20, 2004, Disney's Vero Beach Resort will reopen after a brief closure due to the impact of Hurricane Frances, which made landfall near Vero Beach, Florida, earlier this month.
While limited repair work continues in specific areas of the resort including Sonya's restaurant and the children's wet deck, which remain closed at presentthe resort Cast are ready and excited to welcome home Members and Guests once again for a magical Disney vacation.
Member reservations for stays starting September 20 are being accepted effective immediately.
