His procedure had been delayed, but he is now home (he was only in the hospital for one day, no nights) doing well, and back to aggravating his brother.
It lasted a little over 3 hours and all went well. The procedure confirmed that he will definately need a new valve, as he is growing and the donor valve has not. They have scheduled a balloon angioplasty (sp?) on the 2nd of January where they hope to buy a few years before his next valve replacement. Of course we are all very nervous about the January procedure, but as in the past, I know he will come through with flying colors. He's quite a trooper, although he has been very upset and not being able to participate in P.E. and do a lot of the things he wants to do, and they don't know when he will be able to resume those things
He'll be 12 the end of December and I'm very proud of the little guy
