I know theres a ton of threads about MMB but I find the whole thing very confusing and just want to verify some things.

1. If you are direct and resale I am assuming you can only get MMB on your direct contract?
2. If you only have only one direct contract, does it make sense for myself and my wife to get it? For what reasons could this make sense?
3. Are they selling this for 2026 and 2027 right now and its $99?
4. I think it comes with one free day of memory maker? Can you use this at Disneyland for photopass instead?
5. Are the lounges that crowded that the fast pass aspect of it is necessary? I think I read somewhere that there are special times that MMB people can go to the lounge that others cant or am I trippin? Is the Mickey and Minnie with the seasonal outfits an MMB only thing?
6. What benefits do you actually use that makes this worth it to you?

Thank you!

MMB is bought for an individual. It doesn’t attach to a specific membership.

Each person with MMB is eligible to use the benefits.

The only time the membership comes into play, if you have more than when…which you do because you have more than one UY…is when it comes to using the BOGO OTU points benefit.

You have to choose which membership you’d like to buy the points and take advantage of it

The only other time would be using points for an AP but only the membership with eligible points can be used for that. If you want to take advantage of the BOGO OTU points for an AP, then you have to purchase in the same membership as the direct points.

Price is $99 per person and you can buy it for 2026.

The only reasons to buy for each person is so that each owner can use the lounge priority access without the other or go to the character experience at the Epcot Lounge.

Or to get double OTU points at the discounted price when you have more than one membership.

So my wife can use it to buy bogo on SSR even tho its resale and then me for vdh?

And since we're both on only one direct contract then we can both have a MMB?

So if we want to buy sorcerer pass we have to use our vdh points?

What is the character experience at the epcot lounge? Is that the mickey and minnie in different outfits? You cant go to that if you dont have MMB? Do we both need MMB for the character experience or is it just to go without each other?

Don’t think about contracts at all…think about memberships because the points are not part of the contracts.

You can buy them in one membership and she can buy in the other membership…it doesn’t matter what contracts are in each one.

As long as you are each owners of the membership, then you can use on both.

Sandi touched on most of it.

Epcot has MMB exclusive character meet at the lounge after it closes for other members.

Skipping the line will usually help you more at MK than any other lounge.

No photo pass at DLR or Aulani only WDW

My advice is buy 1 MMB membership and do not buy a 2nd for your wife until you know you need it.

What is the after hours character? Is it the same as during the day but extended hours?

I already used all of my otup for all three of my memberships right now, if we bought two would we still get 48 otup?

The Epcot Lounge has a unique experience from 5:30 to 8:30 pm to meet Minnie and Mickey. It is only for MMB.

The rules of OTU points don’t change. Only the price.

If you buy MMB for 2026, you can buy OTU points for any membership that you can still buy them.

If you already bought, then you can’t get another set until the next UY for that membership.

As long as the day you want to buy them is in 2026 and the date of the reservation you are getting them is in a UY you didn’t buy any yet, then each memberships can get them.

Ok i think it only makes sense for us to get one then no matter what because of the otup already being used in the other ones.

How many people can someone bring into the lounges? If were both on one direct membership can we bring double the people?

My 2 cents based on your questions:

1. If you are direct and resale I am assuming you can only get MMB on your direct contract?
It’s best to think of MMB as like a coupon book, you are buying a book of coupons to use, some are one time use (like the Memory Maker and OTUP BOGO) others are unlimited (Priority Lounge Access).

2. If you only have only one direct contract, does it make sense for myself and my wife to get it? For what reasons could this make sense?
The Owner of the MMB must be present to use the lounge option. If the 2 of you are ever apart, then yes it could make sense. For your other note of 8 people then yes you will both need it to get all 8 in unless those 8 people are on your reservation.

3. Are they selling this for 2026 and 2027 right now and it’s $99?
Only for 2026 Calendar Year, yes its $99.

4. I think it comes with one free day of memory maker? Can you use this at Disneyland for photopass instead?
It’s a 30 day download window that you are buying. Once you download your first photo, your 30 day clock starts from that day you did the download. It makes no difference when the photo was taken. We did a trip mid December, we are going again the end of this month (Jan), photos live in MDE App for 45 days, so I waited til Dec 31st to download our photos from earlier in the month using my 2025 MMB. The clock started 12/31. I have til 1/30 to download any photos I want which will catch most of my trip at the end of the month.

5. Are the lounges that crowded that the fast pass aspect of it is necessary? I think I read somewhere that there are special times that MMB people can go to the lounge that others cant or am I trippin? Is the Mickey and Minnie with the seasonal outfits an MMB only thing?

Depends on the lounge and on the day. We were at MK twice in December, one time we went there were 5 people on the list, we got right in with MMB. Next time we went there were 35 people on this list, we got right in on MMB. We love the lounges, DW has food allergies and they will give you allergy friendly snacks, so it’s a big win for us. Plus we love the freestyle machines, it’s a nice break to the day. Fo us $99 is worth it. I wont get into the debate on them paywalling this, thats a whole other conversation, but for us, this is awesome.

6. What benefits do you actually use that makes this worth it to you?
Memory Maker - Hit or miss. If you have an annual pass, the year long MM may be better and isnt much more than MMB, but then again that’s all you get. For us, it covered literally 2 trips for 2025 and 1 trip for 2026, so not bad.
Lounge Entry Priority- literally use it every time we are in Epcot or MK. Amazing benefit.
Minnie and Mickey M&G at Epcot Lounge- the lounge was empty when we went, we spent as much time as we wanted and a photo pass photographer got photos of us. Their outfits were so stinking cute. Loved this benefit.
OTUP- Used this benefit instead of borrowing extra points, so 24 points at $10 each was a steal, love this.
2026 Aulani Photo- We are going to Aulani in 4 weeks, will definitely use this and I am guessing this is like a $30 benefit on its own.

I didnt hesitate to buy it for 2026 since we are going several times to WDW. For us this is a no brainer even if I just use it to get into the lounges and the MM. Again, not getting into the argument about Disney paywalling these things, they did so thats the world we are living in and for us its worth the extra cost for what we get.

Thank you for the detailed response 😀 I also think its worth it as well. If the cost outweighed the otup benefit then I would pass

It's $99, just buy it and if you get no value out of it then don't buy it next year. (I'm pretty sure you will use at least one of the benefits).

Just as an interesting data point, this year when I purchased it with my Disney Visa it showed up in my statement under the 0%/6 month promotion.
