Update on mom's dementia

I'm sorry that you are having to go thru this Lisa. Your mother is lucky to have your support!

Olga --- this is such a tough week for you sweetie -- I'm sorry you are going thru this right now. You and your kids will have lots of 'good memories' of this stay with Mom as the years go on so try not to just dwell on the bad times right now.

Yes this has been a tough week, but my dad has had one tough year. We thought this would be a good idea and would give him a much deserved break, now we don't know if it was such a great idea.
I can only hope and pray that my dad has the strength to go through this, his health is not that great either and I don't know how much he can handle.
God help us in this road to hell.

HUGS and prayers go out to you. We dealt with this last year with my grandma and it is tough. She was able to stay in her home for quite a while since my parents live close but she is now in a nursing home.
