Yet another day with absolutely no reply, gotta love VMK.

Another question: Let's say they get all the problems fixed with the Inferno. On the DMR site it says one redemption per member. Does that mean if we get enough points for another inferno, we won't be able to get it since we got it once already? Just wondering.

From what I understand, you can only redeem that prize once. So, You would need to create another account to get another code. For those who buy codes, you would probably have to do that anyway since you can only put in one code for each movie. Like you couldn't use two Santa Claus 3 codes on the same account.
 
Ok...I got impatient and took a chance and redeemed my points. I used my code just now, and it worked for me...unlimited use one-star inferno! :cheer2:

So it does seem to be fixed on DMR's site, and I'm sure they're working on making sure all of you get yours fixed, too. :woohoo:

Hmmm ~ dare I try my code? I got my code last Wednesday when they were still having problems. If I understand correctly, you got yours this morning, wonder if the older codes are working.

Anybody try yet?

You're correct...I did get mine this morning, so I don't know about the codes people got before working. I would take it as a sign that at least they're making progress on it, though.

Anyone who knows something about the way codes are tied to the things they unlock (whether in VMK or otherwise) care to chime in on this? Will codes that were given before it was fixed on the site be likely to work correctly now?
 
Just wanted to let everyone know that the code worked for me this morning. I redeemed my points today and then entered the code and got an unlimited use inferno.

So I would say if you redeem your Disney Movie Rewards points today and enter the code today it should work fine.

I am not sure if you redeemed your points before today if the code you got will work.

Ok I took a chance on 2 codes I had. 1 for me and 1 for Ink. I got both codes on Monday. The worked!! They gave me 1 star unlimited use inferno magic. I am thinking that it appears they have fixed the problem woot!

So the 64 billion credit question:

If I was one of the first to get a code and it gave me absolutely nothing... do i re-enter the code or do i have to continue to wait for something to happen from VMK as I have received nothing from them at all up to this point?

Anyone know?

I just redeemed my code that I received 11/20/07 (it originally gave me nothing) and it worked! Go for it!
 
If only I'd waited one more day... lol

Well, here's hoping the single-use issue will get resolved soon! ;)

So apparently the Disney Movie Reward Codes for inferno are now working properly. However, this is sad for people who still only have one time use, because they are the first ones who got a code and are still waiting to be fixed. I hope VMK fixes this soon because I know a lot of people who are upset because people who got codes way after them have their inferno, and they still do not have theirs. I have my mouse ears crossed that VMK fixes this problem hopefully some time today so the whole kingdom can be happy again! :woohoo:
 
Woot! I received my code 11/21/07 which did not work at all. I never had any reply from VMK and I never tried to enter it again until just now.

It works!! Go for it people!:banana:
 
I got my code on the day it came out - entered it and got the whole "not valid" thing- wrote VMK but never heard back ; I waited until today when I saw other people posting it was ok, I entered it again and it works for the unlimited use inferno magic :) Hope everyone else gets theirs resolved too...
 
We should have an inferno party to celebrate when we've all gotten it. :dance3:
 
mine is still single use - sigh - :confused3 if only i had waited .. way to go vmk putting the kingdom in a vast pot of turmoil. Well this certainly bvetter be fixed today or I will ask the host tonight to make the change for me and trust me I believe they do have the power to switch things with how they put stuff in your inventory yea they can I believe

I agree that they may have the power, but do you think they will? That might be construed as favoritism or something if they did it for you and couldn't for everyone else. Every time I've seen anyone ask a host about the inferno problem (and I've seen it several times), they just say to go through "contact us" and the issue will be fixed.

On the bright side, I really do think it's close to being completely resolved. I also believe that everyone who received single use will have it changed to one-star. I hope it's very soon.

Actually, there are people like Iris and myself that got our codes the first couple of days. I got mine on the first day it was available 11/20/07. We just didn't keep trying our codes, and waited to hear a response from VMK before trying it again. ;)

Since you have received a response regarding your Inferno being one time use in error (some of us never received any response at all), I'm sure they will be getting to it shortly. Don't lose heart, you'll have your inferno soon! Keep the faith!
