Update: Kylo Ren is Coming, but When?

1. Vader is not the icon of Star Wars. If anyone, it's Luke Skywalker.

2. Women do not all love the bad boy. Can that stereotype please die?

3. I'd be interested to meet Kylo Ren because I think he is an interesting character, not because I like him. Also, whoever said kids have different priorities in Star Wars characters are so right. A lot of little kids haven't even seen the Original Trilogy. They know Kylo Ren way more than Vader.

I know you are all saying Kylo will be doing meet and greets on Sunday but we are here now and heard a CM tell a small boy that he could meet him on Saturday. I wonder if he was mistaken, this little boy was so excited as Saturday was his last park day.

Vader is on the schedule until Saturday...Kylo Ren has not been added to the schedule starting Sunday but everyone is expecting him to be there Sunday. We should have times guide for next week (the one that starts Sunday) tomorrow or Saturday

I don't like the idea of replacing Vader entirely either. I hope it isn't a preview of what is to come with the Star Wars expansion. If they want to draw the fan base like Harry Potter, they are going to have to keep playing to the original trilogy. I think if they only include new material, they will lose some die hard fans.

That being said, my DS would be made if he had to meet Kylo Ren instead of Vader. We don't have a trip planned right now so it is a non-issue, but at 3, we have not taken him to see the new movie. He has not seen the originals either, but he has read the books and seen the Lego Star Wars that all depict the original characters. It is those original characters he cares about and is into. If I told him we were meeting Kylo Ren, he would be like, "Kylo who?" But he would be so excited about Vader! Now BB-8 is a totally different story and for some reason he thinks he is super cool even without the context of the movie.

BB!!!!!! And since he is a practical effect (not cg, but a created droid like R2), he would be awesome to meet. My husband would DIE to meet Chopper from the Rebels series too. Chopper is a very naughty droid! He also probably has the highest body count in the series - total psycho.
