Update: Disney Dream Menus Added

Hi everyone!

We are going on our first cruise in March and I have a question. If you don't like any of the soups or apps on the menu say at Enchanted Garden (just as an example), could you ask your server for an app from the Royal Palace menu instead?

It can't hurt to ask, all they can say is no. Though if your waiter wants to impress, it may be worth it for him/her to go out of their way like that. I wonder how close the actual kitchens are between restaurants :confused3

Wild boar ... tastes like chicken? Looking forward to trying it!!

Thanks for typing out the menus. But it's not nearly as fun as the wild speculation.

I am trying to figure out what resteraunts I am hoping we go to twice on our 4 night:rotfl2:, it all sounds so yummy

Everything looks so yummy! I can't wait, especially now that I know I can order all the food I want! :woohoo:

I know you have to pay extra for the specialty drinks though, right? Does anyone know how much alcoholic drinks generally cost on the dcl?

I'm sure the waitstaff will be able to answer any question that you might have about the courses. Isn't some of the joy of eating found in experiencing new ingredients and techniques?

Not at $75 bucks a head. ;)

A mere bagatelle for some fine dining experiences consisting of multiple courses.

But I'm not enough of a gourmand for that type of experience, and would rather a Palo tea, lunch and dinner instead.

Do the kids have separate menus to order from? Is it standard kid fare at each place (hamburgers, chicken fingers, etc), or do they have some different types of food also? Can children order from the adult menu if they choose to?

Thanks for posting!! All I can say is: YUMMY! I can't wait...only 10 more days....:banana::banana:...I'm going to have to run that deck many times because I'm going to sample as much as my stomach can handle. :cool1:

And we can't afford $75/pp :scared1:

As for ordering multiple entrees, appetizers, desserts........GO FOR IT! If I don't see an entree I like, I have ordered multiple appetizers and salads! And on Formal night, TWO lobster tails for me!

Sorry, but so far I am not seeing anything appetizing (for me) on the Enchanted Garden menu. Guess I'll be ordering the back-up chicken or fish

I don't remember having lobster on our cruise in 2007, and I noticed it's not on any menu. Do they offer it in all restaurants on the fomral night? We are on a 4-night cruise, is there a formal night?
Thanks...

Adults and kids can order from either menu in the restaurants! The cruise is a great time to try something new, because if you don't like it, they will gladly bring you something else.

I think I remember reading somewhere, long ago, that your taste buds (like many other parts of your body) re-cycle :lmao: about every seven years. So get those 7 and 14 year olds to try something new! (Leaves more chicken strips and macaroni and cheese for us adults!) :upsidedow

My kids won't touch a children's menu if you paid them. Especially considering the fact they (all 4) have celiac disease plus food allergies. With these menus and my foodies I can see my kids ordering double entrees and appetizers and the HS having to get us an extra table for our extra plates. Last cruise my girls actually gained weight (which is unheard of). They requested extra vegetables and the chef was so pleased he made an extra trip to the (food storage) to get okra (with allergies they can't just grab more it has to be especially prepared but with the separate kitchen maybe it won't be so onerous).

My favorite (non-disney) restaurant memory is in Seattle my children seeing grilled octopus with fava beans tossed with pesto on a menu and ordering it to try. They loved it so much they ordered a second bowl. The manager was tickled pink at four kids fighting over it he comped us the 2nd bowl.

What type of food options did they have for gluten free? I know WDW is great, but I've never done a cruise so I'm a little nervous. My friend is getting married on the Dream in Sept so I'm going & really hope Disney keeps it's good name:goodvibes
