Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

WOW! You better take it easy or your gonna be a wreck in no time! Poor Emily I hope she is OK!:goodvibes Take care of yourself, you are up WAY to late:thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Baby Luke was having a party... he was kicking and moving around like mad last night... my babies are wild at night... which means I have to be beyond tired to fall asleep.

Still loving this trip report your girls are so cute I am also trying to do potty training with my 2 year old boy not as easy as my first one who is now 8 yrs. I don't think hes ready talks about it just dosen't want to do it. Only a few times. If you have any hints feel free to send them this way.

Emily has yet to say she needs to go... which means it is a lot of mommy work right now. I might give up and try again in a few weeks.

We are in the early stages of potty training over here as well. Lots of "I need to go potty" but not much action. ;)

You are on a roll! I thought I was doing good with my 6-8 pages!!

She is worse as the day goes on... I can keep her dry until after dinner ... and then no luck! I hope my scrapbooking craze keeps up!

It must be potty training time of year. I am starting on Monday with Liam!

I am SERIOUSLY impressed with the number of pages you have cranked out. Great work!!!

They are not my best work... but they will be done work! Honestly I have some good stuff coming up to scrapbook so my time will probably get a little slower!

How did you get 10 cents a print at Walgreen's? That is SUPER cheap!!! Way to go on getting so many pages done---I am SO hoping that after next week's Scrapathon with my Mom that I will be caught up!! Here's to HOPING!!! I too like to save my WDW books for last--they are so much fun!! Poor Em--I hope she is doing okay!!! I've been meaning to ask you and Lesley about Kings Island--Tom and I were wondering if there was enough there for Megs to do to warrant a trip up. We used to be season pass holders all the time when we were younger, but haven't renewed them once since Megan came around. I know once we know it is worth our money, we will definitely start doing a family pass again, but I was just wondering how much there is for her to do now. Thanks for any input!! Jen

Jen I think that they are all running that price for in store pictures... I told dh I wanted to go back there tonight and print some more... it just took forever because our local store has an old machine. But for 10 cents I can survive.

How tall is Megan? If she is at least 40 there is a lot they can do, even some of the bigger rides like the Scrambler I think are 40. Hannah can do a lot at 45 inches... but 40 was when it was a good amount of riding. Poor Emily is limited at her someday 36/someday 35 height! I wish you had a pass... we could meet up there!

Megan is probably right around 41-42" right now. I am going to guess they have height restriction info on their website--I will definitely go on there and check it out!! Thanks so much for the info!

Megan was a very active baby at night too!! She inevitably would get the hiccups every night when I would lay down to go to sleep. SO hard to fall asleep when your belly is shaking every 15 seconds or so!! I was about as far along as you are right now when they had to deliver her!! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

Saturday June 7th continued

As we left Lady Tremaine and her lovely daughter we stopped for a family picture

We were not really sure what we wanted to do at this point. Hannah kept asking how long until we could eat lunch with the princesses... and we still have a bit of a wait. So we decided to send DH back to get FPs for Big Thunder and Splash Mountain and we would try something new..... something cool... something I barely remember ever doing.. hey it cannot be bad, we are at WDW remember?
Country Bear Jamboree Gosh... that attraction needs some help. Emily ate a granola bar to survive it and Hannah well she watched and tried to figure it out. DH wanted to see it (I only agreed because it meant AC) but boy it was painful we both agreed.

Once we made it out of there....we had to stop and see Emily's favorite princess, who was getting off of the Magic Carpets where she granted a dream ride with someone!

101_0160.jpg

She really liked her!

They thought they were big girls because they could sit together... mommy and daddy sat behind them!

Then dh took Hannah through Swiss Family Robinson Tree house and FPs Jungle Cruise as Emily and I went to the baby center to change her diaper, wipe her down a little and for mom to take a quick rest.

It was super cool and easy to take a five minute breather. They had a water machine... way cold and I refilled the girls bottles and my own! Then DH met us outside and we headed to Tomorrowland -Transit Authority here we come!
Emily was not so in love with it this year.. dark momma, but Hannah would have stayed on it all day!

Somewhat crowded below... but we still were not waiting!

Buzz Lightyear, we FPs it and then used the ones I collected in the morning for a ride!

It was finally about time to check in at the Castle...and we still had to get the girls in their proper attire! So we headed over... and boy we still had to wait 10 minutes to check in, but they let me go in and use their restroom in the lobby to get everyone ready! It was a huge one... so we were able to clean up before meeting our host:

Em spent the meal asking when she would be coming upstairs.

101_0178.jpg

We were off to our seats upstairs.... ordered quickly and started to eat... which was great since we were hungry and I knew that my girls would not eat once the princesses came out!

We enjoyed the sample tray they brought out... the girls ate the cheese and grapes right up...

Hannah ordered the Chicken Nuggets, they brought out Emily a buttered pasta plate, and DH ordered the Pork, me the Salmon. We enjoyed every bite of this great meal... DH was really pleased by the food!

And immediately following the introduction of the princesses, look who came straight to our table! Needless to say Hannah was thrilled, it could not hurt to have two minis at our table I guess!

and Finally the other favorite!

Emily could not believe she got to see Jasmine twice that day!

As the princesses went around to visit the other tables... dessert time. I ordered the chocolate buckle... as soon as I heard chocolate I knew I wanted it, DH the sorbet and the girls both got this yummy treat:

and look who went right at it... no delicate eater here!

101_0195.jpg

Yummy... plus how nice to bring one out for Emily even though she is considered a baby and was free!

Next up... the wishing ceremony.... which they both loved and are still doing it at home!

I was a big worried that I would be disappointed with this dining since it cost $$$$ but I loved it, we did not have anything left to pay that day, no gratuity and our total bill was not much more than Chef Mickey's where the picture was not included. The food was yummy, the princesses were all kind, not too hurried, and the girls loved the festivities. I am certain we will be back there!

It was now 3ish... what to do, we were cool and somewhat rested? Should we go and take a break, or stay at MK?

To be continued!

Another great update! Your girls are too cute in their matching snow white dresses :) Sounds like you had a magical day!

Another great productive installment! I am in amazement at how much you were getting done!!

Lunch at the castle looks fabulous!!! Em and Hannah in their Snow White dresses are too, too cute!

Just got caught up and am loving it, what nice pictures. Love the ones with Jasmine, glad the girls had fun dining in the castle and you were pleased with it. Great pic of the girls in their snow white getups with their gowns on. did Hannah notice the difference in the Jasmines? I was surprised that Lauren noticed they looked different this year and Luke kept asking how they could be in two places at the same time, that was a hard one to explain. Can't wait for more.
Lesley

Your pictures of the crowds look like the same level of crowds we had in May! Lucky!

The pictures of the girls in their Snow White dresses are so cute! I wanted to eat at the Castle, but changed my mind. Now I am kicking myself! Oh well, next trip, right?!

Great installment!! It sounds like you guys know how to play the FP game well--I feel so bad for those who haven't figured it out yet!! Thanks to advice from you and Lesley, Tom and I quickly became FP Masters!! I bet you stuck around for a bit!!! ;o)

I knew without a doubt which dress to pack for Hannah, but I was not sure for Emily. She loves her Belle dress, but I was worried she would want to be just like Hannah. I luckily guess right. The dress Emily has is the one we bought in MK when Hannah was almost 2- it is much loved and worn. It is still what Hannah loves to wear...a little to short though!

We had a great NO crowd day at MK that day.....we saw a different side of MK later that week.

I totally loved the Castle... I went in with not much hope for being overly pleased by the food, but I thought it was a great character meal ... not rushed. We will be back, at least Hannah Emily and I.

Sounds like a wonderful lunch, the girls looked darling in their Snow White outfits.

Thank you!

Very interested in your take on the Castle... you ate there sometime this trip I believe. Emily was beside herself... she kept telling the CM she could not wait to meet her Jasmine.

As for noticing that they were not the same.... Hannah lives in her own little world... she never has caught on to that! She is not always quick to catch things! It would be a tough one to explain....

I cannot tell you how many times DH and I were excited about the crowd level that day. It was similar to our late August trip and much better than any June day we had ever had.

I would highly recommend the castle...definitely try next time. Remember I got super lucky to get a reservation in mid March for lunch that day, which I am so thankful for!

I love how the DVC alien guy just blends in to the crowd scene in this picture :rotfl:

My girls at first thought he could autograph their book....

We were FP crazy... just wait. We actually did not get to use a lot of what we had, when you through in the pregnant lady it adds some issues.... plus Hannah would prefer to ride the biggies with me... so she rode them less than last trip probably!

Great pictures! They are just too cute! I miss having someone to dress up! Enjoy it while you can!

Great Pics I wish I had a little girl to dress:( Only have the two boys :woohoo: They are really enjoying the trip report with me the girls are just two cute. Can't wait to hear and see more:surfweb:

Moving along. You are so timely with your posts:thumbsup2 I am in awe of host sweet your girls are. :lovestruc

What did you do to pass the time waiting for the opening of MK? When we were there last Oct. there was one day with no opening hurrah. :confused3 I wonder why it is on somedays and off others.

I haven't been to CRT for a few years, so I am excited to bring my little princess there on our up coming trip. She is sitting here asking to have me show her the pictures of the gurl and hrrr babeee wit da princess.:rotfl: I gues she loved the pictures too!

You got so much done so far this day! Did you follow TGM or another touring plan?

Great installaments. Loved the pics of the 2 girls in their Snow White constumes. I'm glad that Em warmed up to the characters.

:thumbsup2 on your not so crowded day at MK.

The castle looks like a great place to eat. I have 2 boys and my daughter is older so I don't know if it would even make it to my list....maybe I'll just drag them there....just because! Besides I don't think DH would mind at all :rolleyes1

It was soo nice for them to include Em, even though she was free. And how cute was that ceremony!

WOW!!! Great update.

Country Bear Jamboree Gosh... that attraction needs some help.

Really? I'm sorry to hear that. I have such fond memories. Of course they are from the '70's/'80's so perhaps they are best left in the past. I remember my brother loved Big Al and insisted on buying a stuffed animal with a hard plastic face. It was SO ugly!! :rotfl:

Once we made it out of there....we had to stop and see Emily's favorite princess, who was getting off of the Magic Carpets where she granted a dream ride with someone!

Adorable! I'm so glad Emily found a character to love!

The Snow White dresses are precious!!! I love the pictures of them with the princesses!

And this one...

...makes me a little weepy. I wonder what she wished for!

Just joining in and catching up! Great trip report so far! :) Your girls are adorable, and they look like they are having such a great time.

I'm sorry your surprise didn't go as expected. We are attempting to surprise our girls this year, I hope it goes well!!

great update! emily's face in that first picture is just too funny! i love the pics with jasmine in adventureland.....so sweet! and i love how emily is holding sleeping beauty's pinky finger! that's the cutest thing i've ever seen! i can't wait to take my little one here some day! :goodvibes

Oh, your little snow white's are so cute! I'm glad you enjoyed the castle for lunch. We are doing lunch there in August and we can't wait!

Great pictures! They are just too cute! I miss having someone to dress up! Enjoy it while you can!

While at times the princess world is trying... I do tear up at realizing that it will end. I really want to get a tink costume or cinderella soon... it would be fun to have some new ones.

Great Pics I wish I had a little girl to dress:( Only have the two boys :woohoo: They are really enjoying the trip report with me the girls are just two cute. Can't wait to hear and see more:surfweb:

Glad you and your boys are enjoying it... probably the last girlie trip we have to WDW!

Moving along. You are so timely with your posts:thumbsup2 I am in awe of host sweet your girls are. :lovestruc

The girls studied the map, got sunscreened up, went potty and well just got excited about the trip ahead! Since they did not know we had to talk a lot about what they wanted to do(knowing I already had a plan). CRT was beyond great... you will so enjoy taking Tink there! Every princess needs to dine there... they really make you feel special, much more of an atmosphere than EPCOT's Norway Princess meal.

We followed TGM... it really works well for us... but I cannot stress enough, the park was not crowded. I noticed that the red shirts seemed to go for the big group rides, Tomorrowland Transit, Its a Small World, Haunted Mansion, etc.

Great installaments. Loved the pics of the 2 girls in their Snow White constumes. I'm glad that Em warmed up to the characters.

:thumbsup2 on your not so crowded day at MK.

Emily is her sister's ally... she knows to love princesses or be left in the dust! There were older kids in the Castle having fun, it was really a nice meal... great dessert, I so should have gotten a pic of mine, I think I ate it too quick! I really appreciated them bringing her some lunch.. to kind!

WOW!!! Great update.

I must admit the Country Bears made me sad... I think some updating is the key... I remember liking it too! I think Hannah was wishing to never leave WDW... everyday she is asking about when we can go back....she like me could stay forever... except this trip being pregnant I was ready to come home.

Just joining in and catching up! Great trip report so far! :) Your girls are adorable, and they look like they are having such a great time.

I'm sorry your surprise didn't go as expected. We are attempting to surprise our girls this year, I hope it goes well!!

I think I would have told them a bit earlier... so they could have known for a while.... I missed her excitement of going! However I would love a surprise trip to WDW!

great update! emily's face in that first picture is just too funny! i love the pics with jasmine in adventureland.....so sweet! and i love how emily is holding sleeping beauty's pinky finger! that's the cutest thing i've ever seen! i can't wait to take my little one here some day! :goodvibes

She really got into the princesses, it was something we both noticed that Em was much more excited than last trip! Pictures like those are why I believe taking them as they are little is special, even if they don't remember they can look at the pictures and relive it! Plus they are free:)

Oh, your little snow white's are so cute! I'm glad you enjoyed the castle for lunch. We are doing lunch there in August and we can't wait!

I would be hard pressed to not do the Castle again next trip.... I am sure to still have two princess lovers at that point! You will hopefully not be disappointed, I know we were not at all!
