We really didn't have any issues with the boat during the day or at night. Maybe we just had good timing.

The tale of the Dessert Thief.... that is told 3 years later!

So we had our first dinner at O'Hana's in June of 05, it was DH, Hannah (almost 2) myself and my best friend, who tagged along that trip. It was our second to last night, and we had just had a relaxing day. We got ourselves to O'Hana's, not sure what to expect.... but thought it would be a fun evening. WOW what good food, and fun dancing and stuff for Hannah and the kids...which DH took her too throughout the meal. When the ever so yummy pineapple and carmel sauce came out, my best friend and I well ate beyond our share, like it all! To this day Hannah says that O'Hana's is where mommy ate all the dessert. So it will be fun to go back and get a new memory of O'Hana's!

So on a new thread from a recent POFQ returner I asked about tolietries... and it is indeed the SPA line. I am thrilled... I seem to be breaking out from weird stuff lately (swim lessons today made my skin go crazy) but I like and use the spa stuff fine! Less things to pack!

Off to watch American Idol/Dancing with the Stars.... (late was at a meeting)

Glad you are here too. I wish we were with you at WL, but not in the budget with the new house and baby. I am excited about POFQ... I really love POR, but I hate the idea of crowded buses and be the last on. The surprise part is killing me, it started with the incase we can't go we don't want to disappoint them... and now it is fun to just imagine their excitement that day!

At the WL they are separate so I think they are the same everywhere now.

EPCOT day Monday, June 9th

We will aim and hopefully arrive before Rope Drop. This day I am so excited about! We had a wonderful 12+ hour day at EPCOT and I hope to have the same sort of day again. This park used to be my least favorite... and now I am really looking forward to visiting it!

Here is what we hope to accomplish:
The Land: Soarin', Living with the Land, and Jr. Chef (loved this!!!!)
Journey to Imagination
Character Connection
Test Track
The Living Seas: Finding Nemo , Turtle Talk
Spaceship Earth (so excited... it was closed last trip)

World Showcase
Mexico, Gran Fiesta Tour Multiple rides
KIDCOT Stops
Miyuki, the candy lady - I want to be there for this the whole time

We have dinner reservations at Norway with the Princesses. I plan however to cancel this... if Snow White is at the Castle for our Saturday lunch. I will have to cancel on Saturday before 6 to not get charged... but this should not be a problem since after lunch we will head out to rest.
With no reservations to eat at EPCOT I think it will be fun to try some of the Counter Service places.... any recommendations?

We will check the times for Jr. Chef and Miyuki and plan accordingly.

Our chef... watching her was a great break from the heat... and she so loved it!

We saw so many great characters at EPCOT in World Showcase.... I hope to do it again, we waited in no lines there.

I so love this picture.... but let me tell you she was being a little stinker at that moment! She had to wear that hot dress pretty much all day at EPCOT 10-4!

I doubt we stay till Illuminations.. but we might not take a break this day, if Em and Hannah and I can handle it. Then we will head back, swim or just call it a day.

Anything we are missing? Recommendations?


As a side note... at Hannah's Mother's Day Tea today... I dropped my darn camera . (It was the camera or the tile that she had painted that I was going to drop... and the camera is replaceable)... The battery slot does not close right... but it still works okay. I plan to double check it this weekend.... I can't be without a camera!

I hear Sunshine Seasons in the Land is really yummy -- we are planning on trying it this time.

Also, another vote for the Mexican counter service -- it is one of our faves!

I vote for Sunshine Seasons--LOTS to choose from!! I hate to tell you, but the Jr. Chef program has been discontinued. Apparently they need the space to add on more seating in the pavilion. SORRY!!! Everything else looks great! Jen

Oh my gosh, I have the hugest smile on my face thinking about you just telling your girls "come on were going to Disney World" how incredible!!!!! Hang in there, they will be so excited if you can hold out!! Too funny about Ohana. If you eat "all" the dessert this year, you can tell Hannah that the baby ate it too!

I love those Epcot pics! Hannah looks like she had a blast and it totally inspired me to up our Epcot time when we were there in January. Suprisingly, my kids loved the movie in Canada, and it was a good break for everyone.

Have you decided on how you are going to tell the gir;s about the trip?

I think I saw the thing about the Jr. Chef on two different places--one on the closure schedule on the WDW site, and the other in the Allearsnet.com newsletter. I will do some research and report back with the quote when I have it. I believe they want to close it to give more seating for Sunshine Seasons-----so sorry!!! Jen

The Disney store at Tri-County is closing! Stuff was just marked down 10-30 percent, mostly 10. We got two items for Hannah... but that was it. So sad that it is closing... I guess my Disney shopping will have to be online now.Big strike out on a mission to find goodies for our trip/a way to surprise the girls.
