Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

So we watched the new show on Saturday night, Hannah watched it too. She made us watch it again today! She sure was excited.... and she does not even know we are headed there in less than two months!

Tee-Hee-Hee!! :ssst:

Kathy

A twinge of jealousy... well not just a twinge... a lot of jealousy. DH is in Anaheim... headed to Downtown Disney tonight. He can see Space Mountain and Tower of Terror from his hotel room. And well I am freezing in OHIO! At least we are headed to the world soon!

So let's get back to planning our trip!

So I went through our WDW box: fans and ponchos galore. So now I need to print last years list out for packing and start collecting. I see a Walmart stock up trip in the horizon. I am not buying plane entertainment. I think that a movie and Leapster will be good enough.

Things that I need to figure out:

My biggest worry: Diapers. Emily is not well headed down potty train land anytime soon... at least consistently. I doubt she will be good to go by Disney. I think I will have a diaper child again- yikes.

Strollers: As for stroller I plan to have a heart to heart with DH when he returns. Since I am pregnant I won't be carrying the stroller so it is up to him. I have a feeling we will be spending the big $$$ to rent a double for the two park days (I have one day remaining from last trip).

Breakfast: I think for sure we will eat something quick in our room. I plan to buy some cereal to take for the girls, Dh and buy some cereal bars for me. I also plan to pack some cracker packs, chews, granola bars, suckers (Em's best bribe) and other misc snacks.

Water: Costco is what I am doing again... although it better arrive on time this trip (a day late last trip...)

Laundry: Sure I will have to do it... I probably don't have enough cool clothing to wear for a week. I really don't mind though, it will just have to be during a day off!

I will bring a backpack with day gear, I kept my list from last year and felt that it was great for us:

In our park bag

Tylenol/Bandaids
Water bottles (little ones for girls... big ones for mom and dad)
Snacks (chews/granola bars/crackers/goldfish)
Cups/Juice boxes
Hats
Water bottles
Tide to Go Pen
Dry outfit for both
Diapers
Wipes
Sunscreen
Mister
Washcloth
Poncho
Camera
Extra Batteries
Sunglasses
Zip lock bags

At night: PJs and Light up toys (get rid of sunscreen and other non needed)

I think we will get a new autograph book, probably one, I think they can handle sharing it!

On our princess lunch day at CRT we will bring the girls princess dresses and change into them right before we eat. Last year I carried them into EPCOT using those big zip lock bags. They kept the glitter from spreading!

I'm so excited for you that you are having a boy! I have three boys and one girl and its awesome having both! When I had my two boys and thought we were done having kids I never felt the need to try for a girl. But then when we got pregnant (suprise!) with baby #3 and it was a girl we were excited. Now I can say that I never knew that I was missing anything until I had her. A baby is truly a gift, but now you get to experience a whole new world!

So have fun doing all the princess things and get ready for lots of power rangers, cars, star wars etc!

Feel good, and enjoy your planning!

I am sure that DH is already thinking this trip will be his last one where he attends princess meals. We will probably do some splitting up!

Great lists!!! That reminded me that I hadn't planned for my day bag yet! I hope your DH brings you all a few treats from Disneyland!:goodvibes

He was in the World of Disney store last night and on the phone with me... the girls will be excited.

Great lists! Having to worry about diapers is no fun! Are you driving or flying?

Flying!

More updates later today... including a new ADR!

So today I called dining and added an ADR: Chef Mickey's for the Friday arrival day. We could only get 7:55, pretty late but I took it for now. Perhaps we can check in and eat a little earlier or maybe I can stalk WDW Dining and get an earlier time. It is my own fault for waiting around!

So here is what we have so far:

Friday arrive to Orlando around 10 am hope to be to POFQ by noon.
Dinner: Chef Mickey's

Saturday Magic Kingdom
Lunch: Cinderella's Royal Table

Sunday: Rest and relax
Dinner: O'Hana's

Monday: EPCOT
Dinner: Norway Princess Dinner

Tuesday: Off
Dinner: 1900 Park Fare

Wednesday: Magic Kingdom

Thursday: Return home that evening

I do not plan to do more than 2 Princess' Meals. So probably at least one will get cut from the plans.

I also need to fit in the following:

-Campfire at Ft. Wilderness one night.

-AKL one day too!

We will take a least two trips to Downtown Disney We love to play in the fountains there!

I also need to call and get our Flight information into Magical Express.... I still have not done that:scared1:

i remember this pic from your TR last year and i still just squeal every time i see those chubby little legs!!! both your girls are just adorable. is em still a chubby little thing or is she starting to grow out of it?

I had to do some changing around of park days with ADRs and now we are going to be in Epcot and the Magic Kingdom on the same days!!! Maybe, we will even ride the bus together from POFQ!

Those pics of your girls at DTD are just too cute!

What a great pretrippie!! Surprises are the best. Sounds like you all need some Disney time before the baby comes. Congratulations on your little boy!!! It's nice to have at least one of each :goodvibes . Love your Disney plans, very relaxing.

The pics of your girls playing in the fountains in DTD are so cute! We got a lot of good shots last year with our DD. She loved it there, so it was nice that we stayed at POFQ.

Would you mind sharing your packing list? We have a diaper girl with us again this year as well. I'm not going to start potty training until after the trip. Last year I split the diapers between the suitcases. It left a lot of room for souvenirs. This year, I may just buy them when we make our Wal-Mart stop.

Your schedule looks great. We love AK! Are you going to try to squeeze it in?

Em is well still herself.... she is off the chart in weight. I really try to watch what and how much she eats, she is a good eater loves her fruits and veggies, but I never force her to eat. Her latest problem is she has a hard time fitting in clothes... "too tight" is what I hear a lot!

I am getting excited now that the move is under control.... next up WDW!

I for sure want to go to the AKL- I think DH is curious and I for sure would love to stay there someday. It would have been great this trip when we are relaxing a lot. I am working on a packing list... soon!

You are staying at the Lodge... it was such a treat last summer! But summer rates put that out of the budget. I doubt we visit this trip, we would be sad I am afraid.

So this morning I did some detective work. At the end of the summer I stockpiled some WDW shirts for the girls. The issue is I was not sure if the ones for Hannah would be too big and if Em's would be too small. Luckily they work! I will get a picture of the ones I have later... I plan to sneak them out of their drawers so they stay nice (of course Emily has hers on.... it was Ariel and she wanted to wear it today) I also think Hannah will be able to wear the ones from last trip too!

Too bad I won't be wearing mine! (Maybe my dh will pick me up one in Anaheim... I hinted on finding me a Disney maternity shirt!:lovestruc )

OMG! That picture of the girls in the fountain is PRECIOUS! Love those chubby legs!:goodvibes I think your ADR'S look great! Good news that the girls shirts still fit:thumbsup2

Yeah... she is cute but yesterday she got on the table and got into the lunch I packed for me and ate it at 10:30- just as we ran out the door! That is not cute!

Pictures tonight!

We are headed to a field trip to the farm, Hannah and I this morning. Then we are all headed to the zoo this afternoon. So some pictures of this beautiful day I promise as well as the T shirt stockpile.

 If you can't find a maternity shirt, perhaps you can get sleeveless Disney button-front shirt and wear it over a tank?

Kathy

Wait...they make Disney maternity shirts?! I had no idea. I just bought a size larger and hope that they fit. Do they sell them outside of Disney?

I found your new PTR!! It sounds like things are going wonderfully for you-- a new house, a new baby boy, and a new trip to Disney!! Congrats!

We stayed at POFQ when we went to Disney in January. We LOVED it! When I made ressies, I asked to close to the food court and bus stops, since we had small kids with us. They put us in building 4, room 4226. It was a SWEET location. One of our windows actually overlooked the food court and we were about 200 yards from the bus stop. As long as we were on the resort, we never needed the stroller and Liam (our little one) was only 21 months old!

Your plans look awesome! I can't wait to see new pics and hear more about your trip!
