Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

The swim belt that Em has on is it yours or from the pool there? If its yours where did you get it ? Do you like it?

The belt is ours... the best investment ever. Hannah used it to swim as she was learning because it is easier to swim with than a life jacket or water wings. And once Em figured out how to balance she has really taken off on it too! I ordered it through Amazon.com... just search for a swim belt. I think I paid about 17 dollars with shipping and all, but it is so worth it. I am sure Luke will use it too!

I bet she'll figure it out in no time - she always looks so determined in her pictures. My youngest was kinda that way. We had a neighbor girl that was about a year younger than him - she learned how to ride a bike without training wheels before he did As soon as he saw Sadie riding with no training wheels he was done - he had it mastered by the end of the day!

Ahhhhh.... bike riding. Hannah is not making much progress in that, I agree I think Em will ride first!

POR has a bigger kid slide no doubt. It is a lot like the slide at the WL in my opinion. The evening update is coming tonight!

It is coming this evening... once the girls are asleep.

So we were starting to get hungry... and did not want to travel far to eat. So we decided on the food court. and worried that once the monsoon stopped the food court would be mobbed. So the girls got to try out their princess raincoats...

and us in our ponchos and we ran for it! I went across... and DH ran the girls over to the foodcourt. Thank God we were just a quick building away...we had barely any travel not undercover... but things were flooded.

We ordered a Pizza, breadsticks, and Chicken Quesadillas... and shared among us. As we finished eating... things calmed down and the rain ended.

We had talked early in the day about going to the Animal Kingdom Lodge to explore later in the day. We figured we could eat there and check it out, since we had never visited and I wanted to see it. Plus we could probably see some animals! However after the rain started we were not sure when it would be done... and hated to think of the additional bus transfers if it rained again. So we did not get there- next trip I hope!

So we headed back to DTD....

We had been throwing around the idea of getting a print from the Art of Disney store, so we decided to go back and pick one out. We decided after much deliberation to get the photo of the gang sitting together watching TV.... this does not sound great, but we loved it! Picture of print to come soon.

We also walked down to check out the Lego store... but that did not work so well. The samples to build with were soaked and Emily wanted to play on the playground, which they had closed due to the rain...

We then stopped at Ghirardelli's.... not a crowd, probably due to stranded tourists in the rain. We got some crazy treats. The girls got their own ice cream, I think we were insane because it was so much ice cream as did DH and I. Notice Emily had a white shirt on.... yikes! The girls did get a great coloring page, crayons and chocolate squares with their ice cream too!

We made quite a mess, but it was yummy!

Em was such a mess I took her shirt to the bathroom to try to get the mess off... it took a lot of work to get the ice cream out of her shirt once we got home!

Then we went to the fountains once again....

We then took the boat back to POFQ and headed to bed somewhat early.

We had our last day at MK coming up tomorrow and we wanted to get there early!

Oh, don't stop keep going. What dream did you get? I really want to try Ghiradelli when we go, we have never been there. Do they take the dining plan at all?

We love the Ghiradelli's store. We go there every trip and buy a bag or two of the chocolate carmel squares to eat as a night snack when we get back to our rooms. DH had a shake from there last time we were there and loved it! Can't wait to hear about your dream.

I'm glad you didn't let the bad weather get you guys down. We saw some people order pizza when we stayed at POFQ and it didn't look bad.

That is one thing we loved about staying at POFQ, the easy access to DTD. I can only imagine the mess of the chocolate ice cream, but boy does it look good!!

You will have to see what dream we won...actually there were two! One happens early at MK... the other late!
I love Ghiradelli..... I should have went hog wild and got a big sundae.... but I was not that hungry. I am an ice cream snob, and I love their chocolate, almost as much as Graeters (local here). I cannot believe we let the girls get their own.... we never do that!

Em is constantly trying everyones ice cream. She is really good at getting tastes from everyone. She typically says she wants a flavor and once we all order she changes her mind... and switches.

I love the carmel squares the best... but I did not buy any because I have no self control... I would have them gone in a day. Dream soon!

I am bummed about no AKL. DH was game to go, until the rain. Then we just did not have the energy to get there. I am for sure eating at Boma next trip, then I have to visit!
