*Update*#19!!! Hooray!!

Hi everyone,

My DD, 19 goes in this morning at 10:45 for her lymph node removal surgery.

Please say an extra prayer that it is nothing serious.

We are trying to take this one thing at a time, the surgery, then the diagnosis.

It sure is difficult. She is scared to have the surgery and I am scared about the outcome.

Thanks for any good thoughts you could send our way.

Thanks everyone! She did not get in until about 12:00 due to an emergency.
The biggest problem she had was the IV. She did not like the lidocaine used to anesthetise(sp) the area.
She was in and out in about 30 minutes. We just got home a few minutes ago.
We won't know the results until later next week, but she did so well!!
The doctor said it did not look like a typical lymphoma, but it did have some strange areas. So far so good everyone!

I am so glad you posted. I've been thinking of you everyday and hoping you would post an update.

I just said a prayer for you and will continue to do so until you update us again. I'm confident it will be nothing to worry about. I went through this with my 6 year old this past winter, so if I can be a shoulder, please let me know. In the meantime, offering you {{{hugs}}} and prayers and the most powerful pixie dust made.

Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your prayers and PD. We got a call from her surgeons office this morning and the lump is benign.
We won't know what it is until Wed, but as long as it is benign, I can stop worrying so much!!!!
