Upcoming stay at Polynesian

We have an upcoming stay at Polynesian - we have deluxe studio booked. Since we are not DVC members but renting points thru a close friend of mine wanted to know how many times we will have housekeeping and will be have the ability to get towels every day? Also how does the laundry situation work? I think I read somewhere we can use the facilities here for free- but how does this work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For stays of 7 nights or less, you will get Trash and Towel service on day 4, They will come in and replace the towels..

However, if you need or want new ones before then, you can call mousekeeping and they will bring you a new set.

If you are staying 8 or more nights, you will get a room cleaning on day 4 and then trash and towel on day 8.

Since Disney now checks rooms daily, trash is removed each day.

Your Magic Band will unlock the door to the laundry for you to use.

Only the laundry facilities in the DVC portion of the resort (located in the Morea building) are free to folks staying in points. There is another laundry room at the resort, but those machines are not free. Detergent and softener are available for purchase in the laundry room. Recommend you bring your own pods with you.

I found the DVC laundry room in Morea was usually full. I had better luck finding available machines at the laundry room by Lilo's playhouse. I had to pay to use them but so worth it for the time savings.

Does anyone know if the refillable stations at Polynesian and beach club have the new stations where you can have Powerade and vitamin water? I know grand Floridian does. We are making grocery list and I don’t want my kids to have only pop all week. We have a split stay. Sorry if this is in wrong spot or thread. I could not find any pictures online or information about this.

Beach club has 2 of the new Freestyle machines. Not sure about Poly.

Poly still has the original soda machines, No freestyle

You can always walk to GF and use their Freestyle machines at Gasparilla Grill.
