World Showcase Pavilions
We planned on taking our time to explore what all the World Showcase pavilions had to offer. We normally breeze right through or skip some countries all together so we were in for some new treats, starting with Canada. We walked up the stairs and enjoyed the sights of the waterfall for a little bit. We almost went to watch the O Canada! film, but opted to pass. We knew we'd be back in Canada later for dinner, so we moved onto the United Kingdom. We walked through the souvenir shop and discovered Christopher Robin's room in the back, which was a total surprise. It's one of those little Disney things that I had no clue existed. We walked through the shops of France drooling over the fragrances of the perfumes and desserts. I made a mental note that France would be a contender for dessert later in the evening. Morocco was completely deserted, which was kind of an eerie feeling, but we enjoyed looking at all the knick-knacks. I started to get a little overheated and tired, so I asked Chris if we could take a break. We picked a marble bench in the shade and reminisced over the areas in Morocco we had taken bridal pictures at in 2011. Then we went through the giant gift shop in Japan and came out towards the back near the anime exhibition. We cringed a little, but ventured inside since we had never done it before. It was a nice little space, but completely empty. Portions of EPCOT need to be revamped badly, this area being one of them. I'm sure a whole section dedicated to Studio Ghibli would do so much better than just a generic overview of Japanese anime, but that's just me.
Our next stop around the world was The American Adventure pavilion. I know this is going to come as a shock to some of you, but we had never stepped foot inside this pavilion before!
Chris always says, "we're from the USA, I don't need to see it", but I managed to drag him inside this time. We arrived right as the Voices of Liberty were singing, so we grabbed a bench and listened to a few songs. The pavilion was really pretty. We even went to explore the gardens and saw where Bethie had her vow renewal!
We finally went in America!

We passed Italy, because it was roped off for some street performances, which we didn't feel like watching. The scents and sights of caramel made Germany the second contender for dessert in the evening. I tried to find Mulan in China because she is my favorite, but I never seem to time the character sightings right. We didn't feel like waiting, so we went to our favorite pavilion, Norway. We rode Maelstrom, went though the gift shop, and hung out with vikings. Last on the list was Mexico. We went inside and decided to cool off with some drinks from La Cava del Tequila, since tequila is my favorite! Chris had a classic margarita and I had a pomegranate margarita.

This place was nice and quiet and felt so secluded from the rest of Walt Disney World. I will definitely be returning here again!
It was almost time to use our fast passes, so we headed back over to ride Soarin' and then jumped on Living with the Land and Nemo while we were in the same area. Once we were done, we decided to head back over to Canada to get ready for our dinner at Le Cellier!
