Anything to do in "The World" Midnight to 7am for those that like to be up at night?

HA!! I have no idea. I am in bed embarrassingly early at Disney. I am so tired I am usually down and out by 9:00! We keep saying we will stay up for fireworks every year, and every year we say, "maybe next year."

I am sure some night owls will chime in!

the only thing is down town ops disney springs but that normally closes at 1 or 2 am or you can go to the board walk that is normally opened late too like tonight it is oped until 2 am

Years ago, we stayed at the Contemporary, MK view. Around 2 am or so, I decided to just sit on our balcony for a while, and was surprised at the amount of service vehicles going to and from the MK. And in the distance, the sound of power washers.
I suppose you could read an e-book in a nice corner in the lobby. That's something I would do if I was up during the night.

The food court at The GF (gasparilla grill and games) is open 24 hours. So is Picabu Buffereria at the Dolphin

It depends on what time of year you go, but MK can be open pretty late during the peak times. They will stay open until 1am and then have extra magic hours that last until 3. The food court at the Poly is open 24 hours, like the above mentioned GF one. Some of the quiet pools are unfenced still and you can still swim at any hour you want as long as you're quiet. Other than that? Nope.

If you are into photography at night, yes. Plenty to do.

Last trip I was around the lagoon for Yact and beach / boardwalk /swan until about 3:00am taking long exposure pictures.

We've hung out at Bongos til about 2 am before but honestly, we get pretty tired at Disney so we're usually in bed no later than midnight or 1am.

If your a smoker, I've run into people almost every trip especially around the smoking area closest to the pool bar and food court. Not really something to do but it is something to pass the time.

Do they leave any lights on in MK

I am!! That is an awesome idea...not sure my husband will tolerate it for long. But I love the idea:) thanks

You can walk through your resort, testing the theory that your MagicBand will only open one room door...

...but expect to meet someone from Security before too long.
ROFL!!! Apparently you've witnessed this before???

Geez, you know I'm racking my brain here to remember and I'm pretty sure Space Mountain was lit up pretty well, but I think the Castle was dimly lit. And that would have been well over 10 years ago, so things could be much different now:)

Just curious, do you stay up during the day and go to the parks, then stay up all night? I couldn't sleep all day knowing what I was missing going on outside my door!
